Now that the Taliban are in almost total control of Afghanistan, they are going door to door in Kabul searching for journalists and political enemies, according to news outlets there.
Tolo News, an Afghan news outlet, took to social media on Monday to reveal that Taliban confiscated weapons from its security staff and took over responsibility for protecting their office. Taliban officials made American Democrats jealous by confiscating civilian weapons with the justification being that they no longer have the need to defend themselves since the Taliban will now keep the people safe.

On Monday, a Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFERL) journalist said that the Taliban are now targeting journalists and US sympathizers alerting the world on Twitter.

Women journalists have a lot to fear from the Taliban taking back control of the country. The supposed religious zealots are infamous for their mistreatment of women not only in how they place strict rules suppressing their daily activities but sexual assault as well, including rape.
The “Guardian” (UK) passed along some thoughts from several prominent female Afghan journalists who, out of fear, spoke anonymously.
“For many years, I worked as a journalist … to raise the voice of Afghans, especially Afghan women, but now our identity is being destroyed and nothing has been done by us to deserve this,” one news anchor on Monday told the outlet. “In the last 24 hours, our lives have changed and we have been confined to our homes, and death threatens us at every moment.”
All this sea change back to the 1st century took place in mere hours thanks to the disastrous decision made by our President Joe Biden.
“Firstly I am worried about myself because I am a girl, and also a woman journalist,” another said.
Sunday morning, the Taliban took control of Kabul with very little to really no resistance at all. After hanging out for photos at the presidential palace for a while, the terrorist group’s leaders declared victory in their efforts to restore the country as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
President Ashraf Ghani ran away, leaving his people behind, fleeing the country at the first sign of the Taliban advancing. He later posted on Facebook with the excuse that he ran like a frightened little girl to spare the city from further violence. I think he did so to spare his own body from further violence.
Since there really was no armed conflict to cause destruction inside the city, Ghani’s claim fizzled out when people realized that the terror group moved against civilians instead of military since there was no presence of the Afghan military who could have possibly presented a minute sense of resistance. So much for the best equipped and best trained military on earth, according to President House Plant Biden.
Even though Taliban entered the city intentionally without weapons, claiming they would not retaliate against anyone in government or military who had opposed them in the past, it’s being said that though the Taliban are saying they are there to protect civilians, even the male journalists have good reason to doubt such assurances since the terror group is known for executing certain popular media types.
Dawa Khan Menapal, the Afghan government’s chief media officer, was assassinated this month by the Taliban. He was a radio journalist in the past and a deputy spokesman for Ghani, and when they killed him he was serving as the head of the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC).
To reveal how evil the Taliban are, late last month they filmed their kidnapping of a popular Internet comedian Nazar Mohammad right before they executed him and showed images of his body, bullet-ridden, hanging from a tree on social media. The Taliban animals initially said they had nothing to do with his execution, but then later said he was killed because of his jokes against Taliban prisoners. Can you imagine what would happen to every American late night host if conservatives behaved the same way?
All Joe Biden had to do was follow through with the withdrawal plan the Trump administration drew up for Afghanistan. But that feckless fool wanted to send the message that he wouldn’t trust anything Donald Trump did, so he disregarded the plan that was already set in motion, changed the operation to a withdrawal of all troops with no plans for protecting embassy personnel or other Americans who had to come home and he left all of our military equipment behind for the Taliban to use against us at a future date and time.
At least Joe Biden found a way to get everyone to agree; as Commander-in-Chief, he is a total failure. I bet he planned his vacation better than this withdrawal.
After years of studying Democrats, I’ve come to the conclusion that when a major decision like this has to be made, they usually go with the first thing they come up with. They rarely ever question themselves and when they do, it’s on a superficial level for checking the optics. In the end, their plans always rely on them believing that they are so smart that everything they planned is going to run smoothly and they never have a Plan B. Imagine executing such a plan where you have to hold your breath with your fingers crossed hoping upon hope that everything runs smoothly and when things go wrong instead of re-evaluating your policies and choices in the making of the plan you just blame other people.
That’s what Biden has done. He wrongly told the American people that he had two choices; either continue with Trump’s plan for withdrawal or bring in more troops. Biden said he went with Trump’s plan to withdrawal so that he could blame the previous president. But he did neither. He changed the withdrawal plan to not care about protections of our people and our property. He botched the whole thing and we cannot let him get away with blaming the previous administration for his monumental fustercluck.
