In the Brian Laundrie hunt, Dog the Bounty Hunter thinks a campsite in Florida may be the key to finding the now fugitive fiance of the late Gabby Petito.
The Dog got a tip that Laundrie and his parents had camped out together at Fort De Soto Park in Pinellas County back in early September.

Something significant was discovered. On the Laundrie’s second trip, 3 people went into the park, but only 2 people left, Chapman said.
“They were registered, went through the gate,” he said. “They’re on camera. They were here.”
TMZ revealed that Chapman and his wife Francis Frane found a fresh campsite in the Florida woods. Chapman told authorities about his discovery and believes there is unspecified evidence that links Laundrie’s parents to the site, said TMZ.
On Monday, Chris and Roberta Laundrie, Brian’s parents, have denied any knowledge or involvement in the disappearance of their son via a statement made by their lawyer. The FBI last Monday raided the parent’s home where their son and his fiancee Petito lived.
“The speculation by the public and some in the press that the parents assisted Brian in leaving the family home or in avoiding arrest on a warrant that was issued after Brian had already been missing for several days is just wrong,” attorney Steven Bertolino said in a statement.
Chapman joined the effort to find Brian Laundrie on Saturday. Reporters saw him in North Port, Florida knocking on the door of Laundrie’s parents’ hom. They never answered the door.
Chapman told the New York Post that day that he was planning on catching Laundrie by his 24th birthday, which is on November 18. He acknowledged that he received many early tips on his hotline that said Laundrie was somewhere along the Appalachian Trail. He is known to spend time camping there. “That is the most leads coming right now that say that,” Dog said.
Dog said he has already gotten over a thousand leads on his hotline, during an interview with Fox and Friends on Monday.
“I would say within 48 hours we probably will have a location where we start the tracking at,” Dog said in the interview.
Laundrie, 23, hasn’t yet been accused of Petito’s death, but he’s more than a person of interest now. He’s a wanted man for allegedly using someone else’s bank card in Wyoming in late August, around the time Petito was last heard from by her family. The accusation doesn’t say whether the card was Petito’s or someone else’s.
The couple went on a cross-country trip where Petito was filming stops they made for her Internet posts. Laundrie arrived back in Florida at his parent’s home on September 1 and his fiancee wasn’t with him. When Petito’s family reported that their daughter was missing on September 11, Laundrie and his family refused to speak with the authorities.
Laundrie took off shortly after Petito’s parents notified the authorities of their daughter’s disappearance.
