On Monday, Fox News’ White House correspondent, Peter Doocy, try as he did, could not get White House mouthpiece Karine Jean-Pierre to answer the question if President Joe Biden thinks American cities today are safe.

“Does President Biden think America’s big cities are safe?” Doocy asked. “We know that deaths and robberies are up about 20 percent in the first half of this year, so I’m wondering if he thinks America’s big cities are safe.”

As she normally does, Karine Jean-Pierre murdered the art of dialogue by going into a convoluted bloviated response that did everything but answer Doocy’s questions.

“Look, this is a president who has secured historic funding to make sure law enforcement has what it needs. And he was able to do this in the face of opposition from Republicans,” Jean-Pierre lied. Republicans did not vote for the bill because outside of the funding for police, there were all kinds of wasteful spending items in the bill.

Last Thursday, Democrats in the House tried to cover up their support for defunding the police.

Democrats passed four bills Thursday afternoon that would make available billions of dollars in new grant funding that states and localities could use to fund police training as well as efforts outside the police department to boost community safety. But Republicans said the bills are an attempt to get voters to forget their past support for defunding police departments across the country.

“They want to take money from communities who funded their police and give it to communities who didn’t so they can get past this whole ‘defund the police’ that’s been their mantra for the last couple of years,” said Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, of the Democratic bills.

Rep. Michelle Fischbach, R-Minn., said Democrats did not call up the bills to “solve a problem,” but “so my Democrat colleagues can look like they are solving problems.”

The Democrats sought to defund the police in blue cities across the country. I know that the administration tries to say that Joe Biden was never for defunding the police but the rest of the universe remembers when he responded to the question of would he be in favor of diverting funds from police to other social programs and he said, “Yes, absolutely.”

That is defunding the police no matter how you want to phrase it. And did you notice that they cut away the rest of what he said there in a very awkward edit?

Once he caught a bunch of blowback over it Biden came out and argued that he was never for defunding the police but he thinks that we should fund the police and the Democrats in Congress and the misinformation news media lied and said that it was the Republicans who wanted to defund the police.

Democrats in many blue cities and states actually defunded the police, and most of them tried to say they didn’t because police were still being funded. Even when you take away partial funding for police, that’s defunding the police. Democrats are such hypocrites. They say they were not for defunding the police even though we have this thing called social media, where they most certainly did. Crime in those jurisdictions skyrocketed as predicted. Helen Keller could have seen that coming.

And the criminals laughed at each one of them. Democrats cowered in fear against groups like Black Lives Matter, ANTIFA and others in the wake of the death of George Floyd. They allowed nightly riots to go on in blue cities across America unanswered. They did next to nothing to stop them and then, when that wasn’t enough; they called for defunding police. They didn’t have the stones to stand up to the Marxists. They are cowards who cost many Americans their lives and property by supporting the criminal element in this country.

The White House mouthpiece went on to argue that Biden’s American Rescue Plan included over $300 billion for states and local communities to hire more law enforcement.

Doocy, ever so politely, reminded Karine Jean-Pierre that she didn’t answer the question. “Just the original question: Does President Biden think America’s big cities are safe?” Doocy tried again.

“It is not a yes or no question,” she responded. It very much is a yes or no question. She just doesn’t want America to know the real answer.

“It is very much a question of what has he done to make sure that cities have the funding and have what they need to protect their community, and that is what the president has done,” Jean-Pierre responded.

And yet that $300 billion hasn’t done squat to even stem the flow of crime in America’s blue cities. Isn’t it ironic that all the serious violent crime that is happening in our country is taking place inside blue Democrat run cities, yet the Democrats keep saying that the “MAGA Republicans” are the people committing violence in the country? We can absolutely watch the evening news and see where crimes are being committed all over the country. It’s happening in blue cities and by what we can rationally deem as Biden supporters, yet throughout all the rhetoric coming from the Democrats of MAGA Republicans being violent, there’s no plethora of video available like there is coming from blue cites. Isn’t it amazing how these crafty MAGA Republicans are able to remain invisible while they’re committing so much violence? #EyeRoll
