Another city, another George Soros-backed candidate for district attorney who will behave in a manner that will degrade the office she is seeking while endangering the very people she seeks to represent. We can say that by looking at other candidates who were backed by Soros.

There are a few reasons why there are so many Democrat-run cities where crime is just out of control. One of the reasons is when Democrat politicians defunded their police departments after they cowered in fear under their desks when the Marxist BLM came knocking at their doors.

It wasn’t just the defunding part that brought the problems with it, but the demoralizing attitude of the same politicians toward police and policing. It was almost as if the elected officials were intentionally throwing the cops under the bus in an effort to satisfy the blood lust of the angry mob. Cowards, every one of them.

Another reason crime is skyrocketing in blue jurisdictions is the election of woke, radicalized district attorneys funded by George Soros, who has already acknowledged that he supports candidates who will run their office with social justice and equity in mind, which means they will not prosecute certain crimes when it involves certain individuals and that takes into account the race and ethnicity of suspects and their victims.

One such disaster waiting to happen is running for the District Attorney’s office in Maricopa County, Arizona. The people who live in Maricopa need to be made aware of it because any person running who has Soros’s support cannot be allowed to be elected. It would be a giant mistake unless you like rising crime in your community. If you want to see criminals be treated better than their victims, then by all means, elect a Soros-backed candidate.

This same scenario has been played out enough times that the people should heed the warning signs. Every city that has a Soros-backed prosecutor has seen crime rise like no other period.

Chicago, for example, has its Kim Foxx, where the Chicago Tribune says she has made a mess of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. During the first 3 years of her tenure, Foxx dropped 29% of felony cases. In total, Foxx dropped felony cases for 25,183 people from the start of her term up through November 2019. And it’s gotten worse since. She’s the one who dropped all charges against Jussie Smollett for no reason other than he was a black celebrity. Police gathered enough evidence that even Helen Keller could see that Smollett was guilty of his own hate crime hoax.

In Missouri, St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner is another Soros-backed prosecutor who the Missouri Supreme Court reprimanded and fined for misconduct. The agreement said that Gardner’s conduct “was negligent or perhaps reckless, but not intentional.” I believe it was intentional, but then again, who am I to say? In addition to the reprimand, Gardner was fined $750. Gardner is the prosecutor who went after the McCloskeys for defending their home when 2020 rioters broke through a locked gate and onto their private property at a time when every television was airing property damage and they had fears that they would be harmed. Gardner went after the victims instead of the criminals who criminally trespassed on their property. According to The Heritage Foundation, some key points they made in an April 2021 piece, “Her national reputation comes from her radical pro-criminal, anti-victim policies and a series of high-profile missteps she has made,” and “Rather than acknowledging her mistakes and focusing on ways to combat the rising tide of violent crime in her city, Gardner seems to be doubling down.”

Soros invested nearly $1.7 million into the election of Larry Krasner, the now Philadelphia District Attorney who according to The Marshall Project, at the beginning of his term, Krasner dropped all marijuana possession cases, and then he “… announced he would no longer prosecute sex workers if they had fewer than two convictions. These moves signaled a new era under Krasner, a former civil rights lawyer who had sued the city’s police department 75 times and had come into office promising a wave of progressive policies.” How does a guy like that get elected as district attorney? With George Soros’s money.

Now Maricopa faces the possibility of having their county torn up by crime if the woke Soros-backed Julie Gunnigle gets elected. In a stunning statement to be given in a border state, Gunnigle said she believes that immigration status should be considered when charging criminals with the emphasis on preventing deportation. Preventing deportation is the exact opposite of prosecuting lawbreakers.

Gunnigle was asked in an interview what she thought about prosecutors shielding illegal immigrants from deportation.

Interviewer Meg O’Connor inquired, “Should prosecutors consider collateral immigration consequences in charging decisions, plea offers, and sentencing recommendations, and what effects should those considerations have?”

“When prosecutors make plea offers and argue for sentences, they do so within the interests of justice, and the interests of justice should be an individualized determination that is driven by all of the issues that are happening in someone’s life, up to and including immigration status,” Gunnigle responded.

Gunnigle has also stated, “I have adopted the American Immigration Attorney Council’s statement that there are ways to make plea offers as immigration-neutral as possible.”

According to NBC News, “Soros-backed DAs represent 1 in 5 Americans, preside over 40% of nation’s murders.”

“The U.S. currently has 75 George Soros-backed prosecutors overseeing half of America’s 50 most populous cities, according to a new report from the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund (LELDF).”

The bulk of spending in DA races over the last several years “has been done by (or on behalf of) ‘social justice’ candidates,” asserts LELDF. “Over the past decade, a wave of ‘social justice’ candidates have been elected as the chief prosecutor in jurisdictions across the United States. Most of these prosecutors pursue radical justice policies upon assuming office including eliminating bail, dismissing felony cases, and seeking lenient sentences while creating antagonistic relationships with their public safety partners, especially the police.

The folks of Maricopa County, Arizona, would do best to not elect Gunnigle as its prosecutor because whenever a Soros-backed candidate wins, life becomes a living hell for the people who live in their jurisdiction.
