It’s official. Americans are fearful that rising costs will get much worse if the Democrats win the midterm elections and remain in control of the Congress according to an Axios-Ipsos poll.
Financial experts estimate that inflation will cost American families $5,520 in 2022. Since the Democrats took over control of the Congress and the executive branch, Americans have lost an average $4,200 in annual income,accordig to a study by the Heritage Foundation. Sixty-one percent of polled believe the economy is in a recession right now.

Only 24% said they believe the same thing of Republicans. Those would be members of the Helen Keller Society.
The Ipsos poll was conducted from September 23 through 26 and has a 3.8% margin of error on 1,004 people. Split down, the polled covered 449 Democrats, 356 Republicans, and 126 Independents.
Inflation being the number one concern of Americans right now, the poll does not look good for Democrats, according to a recent Quinnipiac poll. It is the only issue that hits double digits. That poll consisting of 1,419 voters with a margin of error at 2.6% asked, “In your opinion, what is the most urgent issue facing the country today: Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, COVID-19, inflation, climate change, health care, racial inequality, immigration, election laws, abortion, gun violence, or crime?”
August’s Consumer Price Index (CPI), which covers items that Americans purchase regularly, showed that the cost of food for consumers rose 0.7% as compared to the previous month. Over the past 12 months, grocery prices have gone up 13.5%.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELBriana Howard told the New York Post that her family is struggling to afford $10 grapes from the grocery store. “We’re your typical middle-income average American family,” she said, adding, “We’re more mindful at the grocery store … It’s like, ‘What do we have a coupon for?’ I mindlessly picked up a pack of $10 grapes, that’s not something I can continue to do.”
“You want to be able to raise your child in a society where you’re able to give them the best and provide the best for them,” Howard said.
It must have finally reached the old man that inflation is a problem because president Joe Biden promised that the “Inflation Reduction Act” was going to get a handle on inflation, even though a study done at Penn Wharton revealed Biden’s pledge will do nothing to lower inflation.
