Only 7% of voters think favorably of McConnell, while 81% think unfavorably of him. Only 18% of Republicans in the party give McConnell their support. Sixty-one percent are against it.
According to Civiqs polling from 2018, McConnell has never fallen as low as a 7 percent favorability rating. McConnell had an 8 percent approval rating in February 2021, and it rose to 12 percent in June 2021. Since then, it has been gone up around 10%.

Due to the possibility of losing one more Senate seat than Republicans held prior to the 2022 election, McConnell is running for reelection as the Republican Senate leader on Wednesday. Democrats will pick up a seat if Republican Herschel Walker loses the Georgia runoff for the Senate.
Republicans who believe the Georgia election is important have objected to the election taking place on Wednesday. Because it seems like no senator has explicitly challenged McConnell for leadership, others continue to back him.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is still not being held accountable for allegedly misleading Congress twice.
