Lincoln Project co-founder George Conway said Friday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” that former President Donald Trump was in “substantial peril” after Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Special Counsel Jack Smith to oversee the probes into the former president.
Unlike Conway, anyone with a triple digit IQ understands that the special counsel appointment was nothing more than Merrick Garland punting the latest “Get Trump” attack in the never-ending witch hunt against the man so that the phony push against him will extend for years to come. I will say right now that this special counsel probe will go all the way through to the election of 2024. They did it already with the January 6th committee farce. Jack Smith just got the easiest gig in DC because, like Robert Mueller, he can sit on his ass and do nothing for the next two years. Oh, he’ll probably come out a couple of times over the next two years with some information that’s going to be dressed up to look like they “got Trump” this time, but in the end, like all the other times, there will be absolutely nothing to it.

That is exactly what this is, that is exactly what the two phony impeachments were, that is exactly what the show trial January 6th Committee was. They were all attempts to sully Trump’s name to the public. Add to that the campaign donations in kind from the entire misinformation fake news media.
“So, George, what does the appointment of a special counsel tell you about the former president’s legal situation in regard to these two cases?” asked guest host John Berman.
Conway replied, “Well, he has the right to remain silent. He probably should exercise that right tonight, but he won’t. I think he’s in substantial peril. I’ve thought that he’s been in substantial peril for quite a long time. But I think the fact that Attorney General Garland has appointed a special counsel kind of puts a highlight on that.”
I don’t understand what Kellyanne sees in this river rat husband of hers. She can and should do better.

I think what’s driving this much as anything is the fact they have a very, very strong case in Mar-a-Lago documents investigation. We don’t know all the evidence, but the public evidence sure looks like he does not have the defense to the Espionage Act charge or to obstruction charges or even to a potential perjury charge for at least suborning it. So he’s in substantial trouble, and there’s no question that this is not going to help him.”
So if you don’t know all the evidence, then how can you say they have a “very, very strong case” in the Mar-a-Lago documents investigation?
Conway sounds like 1/2 wit gave him an idea and he just held on to it. That’s what all the Lincoln project boobs sounded like.
We have done stories in the past that Donald Trump, as President of the United States, wrote a presidential memo where he declassified all the documents that were at Mar-a-Lago. Just because the crooked DOJ and compromised FBI say that they were classified, doesn’t change the fact that they were declassified by the president.
In the 1988 case, Department of the Navy v. Eagan, the Supreme Court ruled that a president has the ultimate authority in classifying or declassifying anything. And then another case in 2012, Judicial Watch v. National Archives and Records Administration, judge Amy Berman Jackson, an Obama appointee, ruled that the National Archives does not have authority that supersedes the president of the United States when it comes to determining what are presidential records.

The reason the Democrats wanted these documents so badly is because they are the records, the proof if you will, of the crossfire hurricane crimes that were committed by the Obama DOJ and FBI against Trump and his campaign. They are the documents that led to four years of nonstop attacks against a sitting president.
Even Conway agreed with my analysis of this being another show for the Democrats to interfere in the 2024 election when he said, “It’s going to insulate the Justice Department from some degree of political attacks.”
These people are all scumbags and the world would be better off without them.
