Just like the climate, AOC’s new film is not even close to being hot. In fact, it’s a dud.
“To The End,” a new documentary by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), is now available. And if movie theaters pay attention to ticket sales, they’ll notice it has already run its course.

That comes to $80.55 per screen. Running at an average of $14.93 per ticket, if my Catholic school math is correct, that means under 6 people per theater went to see the movie. That means nationwide, about 647 people went to see it.
Perhaps viewers simply did not want to sit through it: “Stopping the climate crisis is a question of political courage, and the clock is ticking. Over three years of turbulence and crisis, four young women fight for a Green New Deal, and ignite a historic shift in U.S. climate politics,” according to the film’s synopsis.
The movie was so bad that people started shouting “FIRE!” in the theater just so that they could leave. And they won’t get in any trouble because none of the theaters were crowded. In fact, I don’t think anyone stayed to the end. I mean, how stupid do you have to be to go see a movie made by a bartender? Maybe the men didn’t go see the movie because AOC won’t date them.

The movie got an 83% approval rating from Rotten Tomatoes, but that’s like the Amazon reviews for progressives who publish a book. Even if the book is a real snoozer, they’ll give it high marks because the author is considered a high priest in the woke supremacy.
“‘To the End’ keeps its large canvas entertaining and informative. Even so, it preaches enough to the choir that this documentary can hardly serve as an introduction for those belatedly coming to terms with its central issues,” Variety observed. Yikes!
On Tuesday, Greg Gutfeld, one of the hosts of Fox News’ “The Five,” speculated about the film’s low performance.
“Who would go see a movie that’s the opposite of entertaining?” he asked. “There’s nothing entertaining about that. But it does show you how great it is to be a progressive in a liberal, biased culture,” he said. “She really doesn’t do her job, right? She makes movies, she goes to galas. She sits for glossy, butt-kissing interviews in GQ and other women’s mags.”
Here’s the thing. AOC was popular on Twitter if we can believe that the majority of her followers were not bots, and she is popular in crazy town New York, but that doesn’t translate to being popular nationally. Most people, when they think of AOC, they think that she’s a good-looking dunderhead progressive goofball who was entertaining to listen to because she gets everything wrong most of the time. The fact that she thought that America would go for a movie about a topic that everybody knows the watermelons have lied about for decades speaks volumes for her own ego.
