House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) blasted President Joe Biden during debt ceiling talks, accusing him of wanting the US to default on its debts rather than slash federal spending.
McCarthy tweeted Saturday evening, “President Biden doesn’t think there is a single dollar of savings to be found in the federal government’s budget, He’d rather be the first president in history to default on the debt than to risk upsetting the radical socialists who are calling the shots for Democrats right now.”

For months, Biden refused to negotiate the debt ceiling with House Republicans. When the American people vote for a divided government, the opposing sides have to negotiate. On top of that, the US Constitution gives the power of the purse to the House of Representatives, where all spending bills must originate.

All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives;
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELAfter House Republicans united behind Speaker McCarthy to pass the Limit, Save, Grow Act, which would raise the debt ceiling until early next year and save the nation an estimated $4.8 trillion over the next ten years, the president changed his mind.
Biden and congressional leaders have been negotiating the debt ceiling for nearly two weeks. McCarthy, on the other hand, claims that Biden’s White House is “moving backward in negotiations.”
Democrats believe “negotiating” means the opposition agrees with everything you want and you give them bupkis in return.
The Speaker took to social media, saying, “The White House is moving backward in negotiations. Unfortunately, the socialist wing of the Democrat Party appears to be in control—especially with President Biden out of the country.”

Biden left the country earlier this week to attend the G-7 Summit in Hiroshima where he is negotiating walking down steps again. Despite the fact that he shortened his trip, he will not return to the United States until Sunday to begin negotiations. He probably has to rest and recuperate from all the negotiations with staircases.
The optics are not on Biden’s side, especially when he left the country with less than a couple of weeks until a possible default. Maybe he wants to default considering he’s a controlled foreign asset of China. Maybe this was part of the millions of dollars the Biden crime family received from the Communist Chinese Party (that we know of so far).
According to a recent The Economist/YouGov poll, 33 percent of Americans blame Biden for the failure to reach an agreement on the debt ceiling, while only 27 percent blame House Republicans. I’d like to know what the other 40% think.
In the same poll, when asked where the respondents think our country is today, a 59% majority said “Off on the wrong track.” When asked, How would you describe the current state of the American economy, a whopping 66% said, “Fair/Poor.”
The only reason Biden gets any points is because of the misinformation fake news media that carries his water. They figure a really bad Marxist leader/sympathizer is better than a pro-American one.
