Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) was always sharp as a tack, politically shrewd, and always prided herself on being the smartest person in the room.
My, how times have changed.

According to the study, Feinstein was puzzled when she noticed that Vice President Kamala Harris was presiding over the Senate, a legitimate responsibility of her office as the vice president is the president of the Senate.
The incident took place last year, on one of the few occasions where Harris voted in the Senate to break a tie vote between Republicans and Democrats.
“What is she doing here?” the 89-year-old senator from California is believed to have asked an aide regarding Harris. But that alone is not a reason to believe she’s lost her faculties. Millions of Americans ask that very same question about VP Harris all the time. Just how the hell did she get there?

She declared in February that she would not seek re-election, but that she would serve until the conclusion of her current term.
Feinstein was hospitalized in March for shingles and returned to Congress in early May.
The senator appeared to insinuate that she didn’t recall being gone from Congress in a frightening conversation with reporters.
“I haven’t been gone,” Feinstein stated. “You should … I haven’t been gone. I’ve been working.”
“You’ve been working from home, is what you’re saying?” a reporter inquired.
“No, I’ve been here,” said an irritated Feinstein. “I’ve been voting. Please, you either know or don’t know.”
With her qualifications, she should run a primary race against Joe Biden. She has the same degree in her faculties.
