Hunter Biden has decided to plead guilty in the federal prosecution coming from a years-long inquiry into his tax issues.
According to Fox News, the president’s son will enter a guilty plea to two counts of willful refusal to pay federal income tax. Hunter Biden will also plead guilty to a firearm offense—one count of unauthorized use or addiction to a controlled substance. Hunter lied when filling out a form to purchase a firearm claiming that he was not a drug addict. So much for universal background checks, am I right?

In late 2019, Fox News reported that the FBI had subpoenaed a laptop and hard drive supposedly belonging to Hunter Biden in connection with a money-laundering investigation.
In December 2020, just weeks after the 2020 presidential election, Biden openly admitted he was under investigation for tax evasion. Biden said at the time that he took the subject “very seriously” and that he was “confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors.”
The guns accusation stems from charges that Hunter Biden lied about purchasing a pistol in 2018.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELFox News initially reported in 2021 that police attended to an incident in 2018 in which a gun belonging to Hunter Biden was thrown into a garbage can outside a Delaware market.
According to a person familiar with the Oct. 23, 2018, police report, Hallie Biden, the widow of President Biden’s late son, Beau, and who was in a relationship with Hunter at the time, dumped a gun owned by Hunter in a dumpster behind a market near a school.
According to a firearm transaction report obtained by Fox News, Hunter Biden purchased a gun earlier that month.
Hunter Biden responded in the negative on the weapon transaction report when asked whether he was “an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?”
After testing positive for cocaine, Hunter Biden was discharged from the Navy in 2014.
The White House responded to the allegations on Tuesday morning.
“The President and First Lady love their son and support him as he continues to rebuild his life,” said White House spokesperson Ian Sams said in a statement. “We will have no further comment.”
In 2019, questions about Hunter Biden’s international business dealings entered the political debate. Former President Donald Trump suggested that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy launch an investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings, specifically why then-Vice President Joe Biden pressed Zelensky’s predecessor to fire a top prosecutor investigating Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings, where Hunter Biden held a lucrative board position.
That phone call sparked the first Trump impeachment attempt. Republicans focused on Hunter Biden and his overseas business transactions in their defense of the former president, even asking that Biden appears as part of the impeachment hearings. In December 2019, the House of Representatives voted to impeach Trump, but the Senate acquitted him.
Republicans in the Senate, including Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley and Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, began examining Hunter Biden’s international business transactions in 2019. In September 2020, Grassley and Johnson released the findings of their joint investigation.
Grassley and Johnson stated in their report that they discovered information from the US Treasury Department that revealed “potential criminal activity relating to transactions among and between Hunter Biden, his family, and his associates with Ukrainian, Russian, Kazakh and Chinese nationals.” According to the article, Senate investigators discovered millions of dollars in “questionable financial transactions” between Hunter Biden and his allies and foreign persons, including the wife of Moscow’s former mayor and those with ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
In the fall of 2022, Grassley and Johnson informed the FBI that they had “significant, impactful and voluminous evidence with respect to potential criminal conduct by Hunter Biden and James Biden” and related to Hunter’s work with Burisma Holdings.
When Republicans took control of the House after the 2022 midterm elections, the House Oversight Committee, led by Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., intensified its investigations, focused on the Biden family and whether their international business operations jeopardized US national security.
The White House has claimed that the president never discussed his son’s business transactions with him and was never involved in them. Officials further claim that the president has never mentioned the Justice Department’s investigations of members of his family.
The allegations against the first son came after an IRS criminal supervisory agent seeking whistleblower protections said that the Biden administration was mishandling the federal probe into Hunter Biden.
The whistleblower cited “clear” conflicts of interest, such as giving the president’s son “preferential treatment.” Politics, according to the whistleblower, is “improperly infecting decisions and protocols that would normally be followed by career law enforcement professionals in similar circumstances if the subject were not politically connected.”
The White House has responded to the charges, claiming that Biden has kept his promise to keep the probe “free from any political interference.”
Meanwhile, a separate whistleblower claims the FBI and Justice Department have a document describing a criminal plot involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign individual involving the exchange of money for policy choices.
According to Comer and Grassley, the memo “includes a precise description of how the alleged criminal scheme was employed as well as its purpose.”
Comer’s subpoenaed document, an FBI FD-1023 form, allegedly indicates a scheme involving the exchange of money for policy decisions.
The White House denounced “unfounded, unproven, politically-motivated attacks against the president and his family” on Wednesday, saying they were made “without offering evidence for their claims or evidence of decisions influenced by anything other than U.S. interests.”
“When it comes to President Biden’s personal finances, anybody can take a look: he has offered an unprecedented level of transparency, releasing a total of 25 years of tax returns to the American public,” White House spokesman Ian Sams said.
The person behind most of the dirty tricks done by Democrats is Lisa Monaco, who now serves as the second in charge at the DOJ. She is there to do the hit jobs against the political enemies of the Democrats so that Merrick Garland can look squeaky clean. We heard that Monaco put in a pretrial diversion so that Hunter Biden gets no prison time. So the Democrats literally make things up about Republicans while at the same time, they add pretrial diversions to keep one of their own out of prison.
