According to authorities, a popular Tennessee soccer coach was arrested after leaving his phone at a restaurant, where workers discovered images of the instructor raping unconscious youths.
According to a statement from the Franklin Police Department, Camilo Hurtado Campos, 63, is suspected of “child rape and sexual exploitation of a minor” and is expected to face additional charges.
CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR NEWSLETTERAccording to police, the restaurant employees searched Campos’ phone for identifying information in order to return the device to him. Instead, they discovered “dozens of unconscionable videos and pictures of children, so they called the police.”
According to the Franklin PD, the boys were between the ages of nine and seventeen, and there were “hundreds of disturbing videos and pictures” on the phone.

Detectives have been working with nearby schools to identify the victims and have identified two of the at least ten youngsters in the images and videos, according to authorities.

Campos’ court records were not immediately available, and it is unknown whether he has a lawyer.
The coach was known to frequent school playgrounds in the two communities where he lived, and would regularly approach children and encourage them to play on his soccer team, according to police.
“After gaining their trust, Campos invited many of the kids to his home where he drugged and then raped them,” according to the statement.
