The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded 34 grants totaling $20 million to groups whose purpose will be to undertake training in order to identify potential online “extremist” speech by Americans. With the Biden administration in charge, what could go wrong? <sarcasm>

The funds will be spent from the Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention (TVTP) grant program in fiscal year 2023, with grantees including police departments, mental health professionals, universities, churches, and school districts.

According to DHS, this program which will be managed by its Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships, CP3, and oddly enough, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), is the only federal one of its kind, with the goal of “helping local communities develop and strengthen their capabilities in combating targeted violence and terrorism.”

The first thing DHS could do is to close the border to the millions of illegal migrants pouring over it every year, including people on the terrorist watch lists, but that would make too much sense for our communist regime in DC.

Those who receive grants are expected to develop community-level prevention programming to combat “targeted violence and terrorism,” as well as come up with innovative prevention ideas and “identify prevention best practices that can be replicated in communities nationwide.”

How much do you want to bet that none of this training will be targeted at real domestic terror groups like Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA and focused solely on conservatives who support Donald Trump?

I wish there was a way that normal taxpaying citizens could file a motion to defund programs like this. After all, it’s their money that is being used to target them for doing nothing wrong but believing things the communists don’t like.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, an incompetent if you ever saw one, referenced the Jacksonville shooting in announcing and explaining the need for such spending. The event was racially motivated, he said while justifying the grant allocation, and it “made painfully clear, targeted violence and terrorism can impact any community, anywhere.”

DHS claims that the “current” environment is one of heightened – and dangerous – threat, based on ideology or personal grievances of “lone offenders and small groups.”

Are you tired of this series of lies by these people? They are not talking about going after bad guys in the sense that law enforcement was even ten years ago. They are talking about cracking down on those who do not like the way the federal government has become an enemy of the people.

The DHS announcement came on the anniversary of 9/11, but it demonstrated that the focus has shifted to Americans rather than any foreign terrorist threat. That includes foreign terrorist groups with a history of invading the United States.

The way the “terrorism threat” is portrayed appears to be more of an effort to crack down on dissent so that they can push narratives driven by the government and traditional and social media outlets that collaborate with federal authorities.

What opponents of such policies point to as probable causes for being labeled a violent extremist or a domestic terrorist may be disagreeing and expressing that opinion online on anything from COVID, vaccines, gun rights, gender and LGBTQ policies, the war in Ukraine, or immigration. Anything the Democrats don’t want you talking down.

Traditionally, we have seen this type of censorship on social media platforms already, and recently platforms like YouTube are cracking down on things the Democratic Party does not want Americans talking about.

As an example, The World Health Organization (WHO) was recently given the power, by Joe Biden, to force America into a lockdown if it officially declares a pandemic, whether real or made up. The WHO had originally come up with a program that would provide guidance on pandemics. They broke the world up into regions. Each region had the ability to decline WHO guidance recommendations. President Biden sent his people to one of the WHO summits for this program and offered an amendment that took away a region’s sovereignty with the power to decline. Biden, in essence, gave a foreign organization, run by Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, a man who is not a medical doctor and has a history of being so corrupt that the communist Chinese bribed the WHO to make him its leader.

With that said, YouTube just created a new policy that bans anyone from giving any medical advice, including medical doctors, that deviates from what the WHO deems the “official” medical narrative. This means that alternative medicine that has helped millions of people is now going to be censored and the people who provide that knowledge will be punished.

This DHS program is just one of the attacks on Americans to come.

This is not going to be limited to medical information or social media outlets.

This is what communism looks like.
