The insane New York Attorney General Letitia James is slapping a lawsuit on JBS USA, the heavyweight champ of beef production, over their alleged environmental shenanigans. Yup, you heard it right. It’s a showdown in the legal corral! And if what she is doing to Trump is any indication, she will use lawfare against the meat producing company.
So, what’s the beef about? (I couldn’t resist.) Well, Letitia James is throwing down the gauntlet, accusing JBS of emitting more greenhouse gases than a herd of flatulent cows on a chili-eating spree. She’s calling out their ‘greenwashing’ tactics, claiming they’ve been pulling the wool over our eyes faster than a sheep in a tornado.

When you actually take a look at the climate change “cottage industry,” you will learn that there is no real evidence that anything they say is true. In fact, the only so-called “evidence” they have can be found in computer models. In another life, I am a senior programmer, and I can tell you right now that I can write a program that will produce the results that you pay me for it to produce. Apparently, that’s what’s going on here. There is a reason I refer to them in the industry as the watermelon people. They are green on the outside and commie-red on the inside.
In her announcement, James pointed out that beef production is the Hummer of the food world, leaving the biggest carbon tire tracks. According to her, animal agriculture chugs out a whopping 14.5% of the world’s greenhouse gases. That’s more gas than Uncle Bob after his third helping of baked beans at the family BBQ.
“As families continue to face the daily impacts of the climate crisis, they are willing to spend more of their hard-earned money on products from brands that are better for the environment,” James said in a statement. “When companies falsely advertise their commitment to sustainability, they are misleading consumers and endangering our planet.”

And the applause? Well, it’s raining cheers from the Democratic side, and environmental groups are lining up like groupies at a rock concert. They’re all chanting, “Go, Letitia, go!” Meanwhile, the rest of us look at these people and scratch our heads, wondering how in the world so many people bought into the climate change bunk.
And since when did it become the business of the Attorney General of New York to save the planet?
Peter Lehner, a lawyer at Earthjustice, said, “JBS repeatedly claims that it will reach net zero by 2040. This claim was found to be misleading, and yet JBS continues to assert it.”
What is misleading is Leticia James’s climate change lawfare strategy.
“While it is critical for every company to reduce its climate change impact, JBS would need to implement enormous operational changes to achieve this goal. However, JBS is doing very little and is not taking anywhere close to the steps that would be required.”
If you haven’t read about Agenda 21, currently referred to as The Great Reset, the lefties want to get rid of meat altogether. They claim it’s because meat production causes cow flatulence, and the flatulence causes greenhouse gases that will someday end the world. The entire theory is akin to something that a double-digit IQ person would come up with to pass the time, yet here we are with New York’s Attorney General pushing the idea.
But JBS is not taking this lying down. Their spokesperson, Nikki Richardson, fired back at the nonsense. She’s saying they’re serious about sustainability, like a cowboy wrangling a bull. Richardson’s basically telling James, “We respectfully disagree, ma’am.”
“JBS takes its commitment to a more sustainable future for agriculture very seriously,” Richardson told Fox News in an email. “We disagree with the action taken today by the New York Attorney General’s office.”
When you are dealing with ideological lunatics with power to harm you, like the current crop of Democratic leadership throughout our country today, you have to go along with their goofiness because they are now masters at lawfare, which is using laws against innocent people to gain the end results they want for political causes that they shouldn’t be involving in their job duties.
“Now, this is what I call raising the steaks,” James said in a statement. “When companies falsely advertise their commitment to sustainability, they are misleading consumers and endangering our planet.”
Remember, this is the same woman who went after Trump for fraud where there was no actual fraud, there were no victims, and the never-mentioned “victims” the bankers wanted to testify that they loved doing business with Trump because they all made money. But they never got to testify because Judge Engoron of NY made sure of it by ruling a summary judgement against Trump so that he couldn’t bring in witnesses to testify. It’s all very commie.
Now, this lawsuit ain’t just a lone cowboy riding into the sunset. It’s part of a bigger project, taking aim at the agriculture industry worldwide. Environmental groups and lawmakers are circling like vultures, eyeing up the carbon emissions coming from farms faster than you can say, “Holy cow!”
“President Biden’s international climate envoy John – “Ya know, I served in Vietnam” – Kerry warned last year that decarbonization would be impossible without a concerted effort from the agriculture industry to achieve green goals,” the article reads.
In other words, you get no meat at your local grocery.
So, there you have it, folks. The beef is sizzling; the stakes are high, and it’s shaping up to be one heck of a showdown in the green pastures of the courtroom. So, buckle up, because this ain’t over ’til the cows come home!
I think every beef producer in NY should buy ranch land in Texas, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee and move their cattle there. Get the hell out of New York because the Democrats there hate you and they want to destroy your businesses.
