A Florida man detained on charges linked to his suspected role in the January 6 US Capitol riot committed suicide while awaiting trial, according to a police report.
David Kennedy Homol, 55, of Umatilla, Florida, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was found dead on April 18, according to authorities.

Because of the J6 riot, Trump supporters are called all kinds of vile names, like “MAGA extremists,” “unamerican,” “a threat to democracy,” and more. And not just by the chuckleheads in the fake news media, but by the President of the United States and other high-powered government individuals.
Federal prosecutors in Washington, DC, filed a motion for abatement of prosecution and a death notice with US District Magistrate Judge Robin Meriweather on May 7, according to the Epoch Times.
The FBI apprehended Homol on felony and misdemeanor charges on January 10, 2024, in Orlando, Florida, according to the Justice Department.
According to a criminal complaint filed in the District of Columbia, he was charged with various felony counts such as obstruction of an official procedure, civil disorder, and assaulting, obstructing, or impeding specific officials, which are similar to the allegations brought against other J6rs.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELSeveral misdemeanors were also brought against him by the DOJ. These included knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds without legal permission, acting disorderly and disruptively in a restricted building or grounds, physically assaulting someone in a restricted building or grounds, acting disorderly in a Capitol building, and committing an act of physical violence on Capitol grounds.
Prosecutors allege that Homol assaulted two police officers with a plastic flagpole on the Capitol’s West Plaza just before 2:15 p.m. on January 6, 2021.
According to the FBI’s statement of facts, Homol allegedly punched the first officer in the back and assaulted a second officer during a skirmish in which the officer sought to remove his PVC flagpole.
Did anyone during the investigations look into people who allegedly attacked police officers and discover it was because many Capitol police were instigating a riot by hitting innocent and peaceful protesters, firing rubber bullets and tear gas into peaceful crowds of people?
According to the DOJ, Homol’s brother, Dillon Paul Homol, 25, of Coco Beach, Florida, was sentenced in January to two years’ probation and a $4,000 fine.
In September 2023, he was found guilty of three misdemeanors. Dillon Homol pleaded guilty to one count of parading, demonstrating, or picketing inside a Capitol structure. He was cleared of obstructing an official proceeding.
“In the 36 months since Jan. 6, 2021,” the DOJ writes, “more than 1,265 individuals have been charged in nearly all 50 states for crimes related to the breach of the U.S. Capitol, including more than 440 individuals charged with assaulting or impeding law enforcement, a felony. The investigation remains ongoing.” The Department of Justice continues to seek leads to aid in the arrest and prosecution of people who were present at the Capitol that day. Many of them never entered the building.
The DOJ tried to make an example of #Walkaway Campaign founder Brandon Straka, who was arrested, I suppose, for being at the Stop the Steal protest and being a man who convinced over 300,000 Democrat voters to leave that party. Straka never entered the building, but the communists had a message they needed to put out. The message was, if you ever question an election again where Democrats are declared the winners, this is what will happen to you.
Remember, Tucker Carlson was ultimately fired from Fox News for playing some of the J6 videos, which revealed that the Democrats lied about nearly everything that happened on that fateful day in 2021.
The House Oversight Committee is contemplating referring members of the January 6 Select Committee for criminal prosecution and/or ethics violations after the Republicans discovered a number of things the members of that show trial committee did where they broke laws, suborned perjury, excluded exculpatory information, deleted all of the committee’s digital information such as notes, briefs, pretty much everything that was entered into a computer, and fabricated facts, all to fit the Democratic narrative that Donald Trump instigated an insurrection.
