I have been watching the DNC convention held in Chicago all week, so you don’t have to. You’re very welcome.

The one thing I kept noticing night after night, speaker after speaker, was how openly and blatantly everyone on stage, even those being interviewed on the floor, lied so easily.

Politicians lie all the time. We call political lies spin. But these lies that I’ve noticed are different. They are actual lies. They are lies in the sense that the person telling them has to have less than a triple-digit IQ to not know that they are lying to the reporter as they speak.

Take, for example, my governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro (D). Caitlin Collins of CNN was interviewing Shapiro on the floor of the convention. Caitlin Collins herself is an avid liar, as she does so nearly every time she broadcasts.

Caitlin couldn’t resist asking Shapiro, who is Jewish, what he thought about Donald Trump, pointing out that Kamala Harris could not choose him to be her running mate because he is Jewish. This was not a racial dig at Shapiro by Trump. Anyone who has been paying attention would think that Trump’s statement was rational. Harris supports Hamas by supporting pro-Hamas supporters. Her actions speak louder than her words. Her actions are more clear than her words, but that’s another article for another time.

Kamala Harris has pandered to Hamas-linked Muslims, which should come as no surprise, especially when you consider her anti-Israel bias. CAIR, that Hamas-linked group that a court labeled as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation scandal, found that they and three other unindicted co-conspirators  helped raise money for the alleged Hamas terrorists.

The Harris campaign wanted to keep the important swing state in contention, so they made it appear that Shapiro was in the running, hoping that would placate Pennsylvania Democrats when she chose the most radical progressive governor in the entire union, Tim Walz of Minnesota.

Here is Josh Shapiro being interviewed by Caitlin Collins, where she asks him what he thought of Trump claiming Kamala Harris did not pick him because he is Jewish. Shapiro, being the lying scumbag that he is, couldn’t help himself by spreading one of the most debunked lies told by Democrats and fake news networks like CNN  and MSNBC.

Joe Biden launched his 2020 campaign based on the Charlottesville lie. He was told numerous times that Trump never said neo-Nazis and white nationalists were very fine people, but Dementia Joe repeated every chance he got all the way up until the convention on Monday night, when the party made him deliver his own career eulogy.

Here is the portion of the Charlottesville speech that President Trump condemned both hate groups (around the 1:20 mark), which CNN and MSNBC at the time edited out.

Pennsylvania’s governor didn’t just echo the often-debunked Charlottesville narrative—he doubled down with more falsehoods about Donald Trump. Contrary to the governor’s claims, Trump is not the divisive, bigoted figure he’s painted as. The core issue lies in the fact that Trump is the first Republican in recent history to unapologetically stand up to the usual Democratic tactics, refusing to cave when labeled a racist, sexist, or bigot—labels that have long been used to silence opposition.

The Democrats’ reaction to Trump’s rise can be likened to what psychologists call an “extinction burst.” Imagine a scenario where you put money into a soda machine, expecting a drink, but nothing comes out. Frustrated, you might kick the machine, angry that it didn’t fulfill its part of the deal. This is the essence of an extinction burst—people escalating their efforts when they don’t get the result they’re accustomed to. For years, simply branding a Republican as racist was enough to derail any debate. But when Trump resisted, refusing to retreat under the pressure of these accusations, the Democratic Party’s frustration intensified. Each failed attempt to bring him down led to a more frenzied response, culminating in what many now recognize as Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Josh Shapiro is nothing special in the modern-day Democratic Party. He is the norm.
