The brother of Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) has stated that Vice President Kamala Harris‘ running mate is “not the type of character you want making decisions about your future.”
In a March 2023 Facebook post, Jeff Walz, one of the Minnesota governor’s siblings, reacted to comments from individuals encouraging him to speak with his brother and “help MAGA.”

One commenter on the page advised Jeff Walz to “have a talk” with his brother.

In another comment, someone advised him to “help MAGA” and “get on stage with President Trump and endorse him.”
“Help save this country,” the woman said.
“I’ve thought hard about doing something like that,” Jeff Walz responded. “I’m torn between that and just keeping my family out of it. The stories I could tell. Not the type of character you want making decisions about your future.”
Walz, who was nominated Harris’ running mate in early August, has faced criticism and charges of stolen valor after claiming in his official biography that he resigned at a higher rank than he actually did.
Laura Loomer, an investigative journalist, released screenshots of posts purportedly made by Jeff Walz, the governor’s brother, indicating that he donated to Trump’s 2016 campaign and is dissatisfied with far-left ideas supported by Democrats.

Loomer also provided screenshots of what appear to be Walz interacting with Facebook acquaintances, implying that he hasn’t spoken with Tim Walz in several years and has several potentially damning stories to tell about his brother.
