A small private jet crashed near Roosevelt Mall in northern Philadelphia, igniting nearby homes and businesses and prompting an immediate emergency response, according to local reports.
The dramatic incident comes just two days after a deadly midair collision between a military helicopter and a passenger jet that claimed 67 lives.

CNN also reported that the plane was not registered in the United States but was instead listed under Mexican registration, as confirmed by open-source records.
Videos of the crash quickly circulated on social media, capturing the devastating impact. The footage shows the aircraft striking the ground at a near-perpendicular angle, resulting in an enormous fireball. The crash site, near Roosevelt Mall, has since been cordoned off by first responders, with authorities shutting down surrounding roads.

At the time of the crash, weather conditions included light rain, mist, and moderate winds. Investigators will likely consider these factors in determining the cause of the accident.
