If Zelensky is telling the truth (and let’s be honest, that’s a big “if” in politics), we might be looking at the biggest cash heist in world history. We’re talking about $99 billion just… vanishing into the abyss. Gone. Poof. Like a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat—except the rabbit is U.S. taxpayer money, and the hat is an international money pit.
Here’s the breakdown: The Biden administration says it sent $175 billion to Ukraine, but Zelensky—who you’d think would have a pretty good idea—claims Ukraine only received $76 billion. That leaves a missing $99 billion. So, the question is: Who’s got the cash?

“When I hear – both in the past and even now – from the U.S. that America has provided Ukraine with hundreds of billions, as the president of a nation at war, I can tell you – we’ve received more than $75 billion. We’re talking about tangible things because this aid didn’t come as cash but rather as weapons, which amounted to about $70 billion.”
Translation: Ukraine got tanks, missiles, and whatever else, but not anywhere near $200 billion in cold, hard cash.
He went on:
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL“But when it’s said that Ukraine received $200 billion to support the army during the war – that’s not true. I don’t know where all that money went.”
Wait, what?! You’re telling us Ukraine’s own president has no clue where Biden’s billions ended up? I’m sure we’ll find out any day now, right? Maybe someone just left it in a Pentagon coat pocket.
“Perhaps it’s true on paper with hundreds of different programs – I won’t argue, and we’re immensely grateful for everything. But in reality, we received about $76 billion. It’s significant aid, but it’s not $200 billion.”
So, according to Zelensky, a bunch of bureaucratic gobbledygook might technically account for some of it. But he’s basically saying: “Yeah, we’re grateful, but no, we did NOT get all that money.”
And here’s the kicker:
“Perhaps the U.S. President’s administration will audit these programs and find additional billions, but I don’t know where those funds went.”
Ah yes, the infamous ‘audit’ plan. Which in D.C. translates to: “We’ll look into it once the media moves on to the next scandal.”
Zelensky also mentioned that a lot of organizations packed their bags and skipped town when Russia invaded—and maybe, just maybe, they got Biden’s money. Which, let’s be real, sounds about right. The Biden administration has been throwing money at foreign countries like Oprah giving away cars—except instead of “You get a car!” it’s “You get billions! And you get billions!” Meanwhile, Americans can barely get a pothole fixed.
But don’t worry, I’m sure someone, somewhere is enjoying a really nice yacht.
While the U.S. Congress has authorized around $175 billion for Ukraine-related spending since 2022, much of the money has been directed to defense firms in the United States.
An analysis by the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) found last year that nearly 70 per cent of Ukraine aid was spent in America, including replenishing U.S. weapons stockpiles, purchasing weapons to be sent to Ukraine, and funding Defence Department accounts.
There have been long-held concerns in Washington over sending billions of dollars to Ukraine given its issues with graft. In 2023, Transparency International ranked Ukraine as the second-most corrupt European nation, only behind Russia, with a score of 33 out of 100.
The Oversight Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives has found that “Ukrainian government officials allegedly engaged in bribery, used government vehicles for personal use, and purchased inflated food supplies for Ukrainian forces.”
Despite previously downplaying the widespread corruption in the former Soviet state, the New York Times reported in 2023 that unnamed Ukrainian officials admitted U.S. taxpayer money intended for military contracts had “failed to produce weaponry or ammunition and that some money has vanished.”
