Did you catch Chuck Schumer completely lose his mind over Trump’s latest trade deal with the European Union? Washington hasn’t seen a meltdown this theatrical in years. The media swore Trump’s America First plan would lead to a global financial apocalypse. Instead, we got a booming deal and screaming Democrats. That’s always a good sign. It’s amazing how the Democrats always side with the people who want to see America fail. They never side with America coming out ahead when it has to do with Trump. They hate Trump so much that they want America to fail if it hurts him. And they wonder why their party is falling apart.
This trade agreement may shift the entire playing field for the 2026 midterms. The panic on the left is real. And it’s loud.
President Trump pulled off something massive. A trade deal with the EU that made globalists squirm. Here’s what’s in it.
The European Union has agreed to purchase $750 billion in American energy over the next three years. On top of that, they’re throwing in another $600 billion in investments inside the United States. Tariffs on U.S. goods? Gone. European markets are now open to 450 million consumers. And in return? The U.S. will slap 15% tariffs on all European imports.
What does that look like? It looks like a mountain of money about to hit our economy. Tens of trillions in total impact. That’s what winning actually looks like. It’s not just a win. It’s a power shift.
Now here comes Chuck Schumer.

He went even further. He declared the whole thing was “fake,” that it’s “not even legally binding,” and then said, “Donald Trump is, as usua,l trying to hype up, exaggerate and lie about his accomp… he Donald Trump always lies almost always lies about his accomplishments and this is no exception.” My goodness. It sounds like he should learn that there are plenty of decaffeinated brands that are just as tasty as the real thing.
Schumer doesn’t scream. He doesn’t pound on the lectern or pull what’s left of his hair out. But he has a meltdown nonetheless. He calls the trade deal fake. He says it’s going to cost American taxpayers $90 billion. He makes up all kinds of crazy things.

It’s hard to even know where to start. The guy who just voted to implement the single largest tax hike in American history just a few weeks ago is now going bonkers over tariffs? Really?
And that $90 billion number? Pulled straight from where the sun doesn’t shine. His words were, “The deal is fake, but the taxes are real.” Then he claimed it was going to cost the American people “90 billion dollar.” That’s an actual quote.
What’s hilarious is that he and every Democrat just voted for actual tax hikes. Not imaginary ones. Real ones. And now he’s warning about mythical costs based on the assumption that “Tariffs are synonymous with taxes.” He doubled down: “Tariffs always result in higher prices for the American consumer. No exceptions whatsoever.”
That statement is just false. There’s no way around it. He either just lied or showed his complete ignorance.
Look at the data. Trump’s tariffs over the past six months didn’t trigger the inflation Democrats screeched about. Retailers covered the extra costs to stay competitive. Supply chains adjusted by going to alternative suppliers outside of the tariffed countries. Importers stocked up before the tariffs hit. Schumer would never know about these things because he’s never owned a business. He’s probably never worked a real job either.
So what really happened? Consumer prices ticked up by only 1.7%. That’s the whole story. Stack that next to four years of Biden’s runaway inflation, and the difference isn’t just noticeable. It’s staggering.
Even people like Bill Maher are eating crow. On his podcast, he said, “These tariffs did not tank the economy like I predicted they would.” His exact words were, “I got to own it.”
So what’s Schumer afraid of?
It isn’t about economics. It’s about losing control. Recent polling shows exactly what’s going on. The Democrat Party is now sitting at a 35-year low in favorability. According to the data, 63% of Americans view them unfavorably. Only 33% have anything positive to say. National Review pointed out, “To handle illegal immigration in particular, they trust Republicans over Democrats by 24 points.”
Meanwhile, Trump and the Republican Party are polling better on every major issue: the economy, tariffs, and foreign policy. The trust gap is now in double digits.
And the shift is visible. In Pennsylvania, Republicans registered 9,000 more voters than Democrats in just a few weeks. The Democratic lead in active voters is down to just 58,000. It was close to a million back in 2016.
This isn’t isolated. It’s happening everywhere. Republican registration numbers are rising fast. And registration tells you exactly where the vote is heading.
Democrats, on the other hand, seem more interested in tantrums than leadership. Remember the outrage over Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle ad? That’s where they focus. Culture wars. Manufactured outrage. And lectures about “dog whistles” and “white supremacy.” They’ve gone completely bonkers, as I predicted.
All while the real wins, actual economic victories, are being delivered.
Here’s the reality.
Trump promised to play tough with global powers. They called it reckless. They said it would cause a collapse. It didn’t. What it caused was deals. Very big deals. And they all favor America.

The left’s panic is not performative. It’s very real. That’s how you know these conservative wins are cutting through. Voters are noticing. They’re comparing results with rhetoric. And they’re walking away from Democrats.
Just take a look at what’s happening in the data. Republicans are ahead. Democrats are melting down. Schumer’s floor speech tells you everything you need to know. They are losing the message and losing the voters.
And as the dust settles, one thing is clear: America’s waking up, and the party that mocked working families, pushed chaos over common sense, and called collapse “progress” is finally getting left behind.
