It looks like 60 Minutes is upset because former President Trump decided to break a 50-year tradition and turned his back on them. And, of course, they’re not taking it quietly.
The fake news program put out a tweet griping about Trump backing out of the interview.
“A Programming Note: 60 Minutes is scheduled to air a primetime election special on a Monday edition of the broadcast on October 7 at 8 PM. For over half a century, 60 Minutes has invited the Democratic and Republican tickets to appear on our broadcast as Americans head to the polls. This year, both the Harris and Trump campaigns agreed to sit down with 60 Minutes. Vice President Harris will speak with correspondent Bill Whitaker. After initially accepting 60 Minutes’ request for an interview with Scott Pelley, former President Trump’s campaign has decided not to participate. Pelley will address this Monday evening. Too bad, 60 Minutes. You shouldn’t have lied about the Hunter Biden laptop story when Trump brought it up in his last interview on your loser show.
The Trump Campaign immediately punched back, referring to the outlet as “fake news.”

I wonder if they are going to do live fact-checking on Kamala Harris. After all, she lied her ass off during the ABC debate, and the worthless moderators only fact-checked Trump.
When Trump was asked directly about the situation during a press conference on Tuesday, he didn’t hold back. He said:
“They came to me and would like me to do an interview, but first I want to get an apology because the last time I did an interview with them, if you remember, they challenged me on the computer. They said the laptop from hell was from Russia. And I said it wasn’t from Russia, it was from Hunter [Biden]. And I never got an apology, so I’m sort of waiting. I’d love to do 60 Minutes. I do everything. … The laptop from hell was from Hunter. It wasn’t from [Russia]. … If you remember, Lesley Stahl, we got into a little bit of an argument … and they really owe me an apology. … Let’s see if they do it. I wouldn’t mind doing 60 Minutes.”

And that’s where the conversation pretty much ended.
Back then, everyone in the fake news media knew the laptop was real, but Stahl and the rest of the fake news industry said that it couldn’t be authenticated.
It would be beyond absurd for Trump to make another appearance on 60 Minutes. It would be like falling for Lucy, holding the football for you to kick, and pulling it away at the last second. In reality, Trump doesn’t need 60 Minutes. I see no upside for the former president. The host will just lie again about Trump to do due diligence to help the Democrats win. I’ll go one better. I think no Republican should ever do another left-wing news outlet for campaign interviews. Conservatives have more than enough news shows, independent journalists, and podcasts that GOP candidates can turn to. In the end, Republicans aren’t asking for the type of favoritism the fake news always gives to their Democratic opponents. They just want them to be fair. But they can’t do that because they are corrupt losers who are not journalists. They are left-wing activists given a microphone while drinking coffee from a coffee mug with the corporate logo on it. The reason the fake news behaves this way is that they know their team, the Democrats, would never win another election if they had honest conversations during interviews.
And let’s be real—who cares if he skips 60 Minutes? Not me. Do you?
