A homeless man savagely beat a former SF fire commissioner with a metal bar in broad daylight near the victim’s home in yet another incidence of out-of-control crime in the leftist utopia of San Francisco.
Former fire commissioner Donald Carmignani was “repeatedly slashed, beaten and hit over the head” by a frenzied homeless guy with a huge metal bar, according to authorities.
“He almost beat the man into the street with all these cars passing by,” according to a witness named Colin Heil said. “I was screaming stop, stop, stop!”
The attack allegedly occurred after Carmignani attempted to relocate three homeless people away from the front of his property.
“He asked them to move, and he was blindsided by a metal pipe to the head,” a friend of Carmignani claimed. “Don’s a big guy and what it says to me is this kind of thing can happen to anybody. Nobody is safe in San Francisco right now.”
According to the same source, the former fire commissioner had a cracked skull, a broken jaw, and numerous lacerations on his face and head as a result of the attack.

The man arrested is homeless and neighbors here say he befriended these two other homeless people who have made this area their home.
We spoke to one of them Nate Roye who gave us more details about the weapon that was said to be used by the alleged attacker.
“It wasn’t a crow bar. It was two round pieces of metal that had been broken,” said Roye who is from North Carolina but has lived on the streets of San Francisco for the past three years.
“These types of brutal attack and these types of brazen attacks, these are the types of things that have been anxious about what’s happening,” said Police Chief Bill Scott.
This violence follows the terrible stabbing death of Cash App founder Bob Lee in downtown San Francisco.

The theory contends that when criminals see a neighborhood where people don’t care about how bad it looks; it brings crime to the area. If someone breaks a window and the homeowner/business owner doesn’t care enough to fix it, then criminals feel they can prey on that neighborhood because though they don’t care enough about the value of their property, criminals believe there is still property they can steal.
The Democrats have allowed the homeless problem to reach levels that most people in San Francisco now experience the problems of human feces all over their front pavements. They have homeless people breaking into their vehicles to steal things they can sell for drugs. People are assaulted all the time by homeless people because most of them either have mental problems or drug addictions.
