Have you ever noticed that red states do not elect bartenders to Congress? Have you ever wondered why? AOC. She is angry because the Supreme Court struck down race-based admissions. She should be applauding them instead. If they had let that stand colleges and universities could admit whites only. Of course, they say it is for diversity, but that is a damn lie. If they were really worried about diversity, they would open more spots for Republicans because morons are currently over-represented at Harvard, Berkeley, Princeton, and other liberal universities.
This idiot bartender thinks Congress has power over the Judicial branch. Don’t people who serve in Congress have to read the Constitution? That moron AOC said:
“If Chief Justice John Roberts will not come before Congress for an investigation voluntarily, I believe that we should be considering subpoenas. We should be considering investigations.”
“There also must be impeachment on the table. We have a broad level of tools to deal with misconduct, overreach, and abuse of power. And the Supreme Court has not been receiving the adequate oversight necessary in order to preserve their own legitimacy,”
What if SCOTUS were to call Democrats in Congress to appear before the bench and forced them to answer questions about the Constitution? AOC would get fired, impeached, and deported if they did.
The second ruling she disagreed with is the Biden student loan forgiveness plan. All spending must originate in the House. It’s right in the Constitution, but AOC never heard of it. That $400 billion dollar-plus program would be entirely deficit spending. It would also discriminate against past and future borrowers. They would not be eligible for that money if they have already paid off their loans or have not yet taken out a loan.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELEarlier this week, SCOTUS ruled on a number of landmark cases, including student loan forgiveness, affirmative action in college admissions, and freedom of speech and religion for business owners, as TheBlaze reported.
Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, a self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist, disagreed with the SCOTUS ruling that said President Biden did not have the authority to unilaterally cancel student loans via the HEROES Act.
Bizarrely, she claimed the ruling on student loan forgiveness somehow represented an “expansion of power” of the high court.
“They are expanding their role into acting as though they are Congress itself,” she said, after Bash characterized Chief Justice Roberts’ opinion as saying it was up to Congress, of which she is a member, to make such changes.
In Ocasio-Cortez’s view, President Biden has the authority, through the Secretary of Education, to force taxpayers to bear the burden of others’ voluntarily undertaken school loans via the Higher Education Act.
When Bash directed the interview to conversation about the case striking down affirmative action in college admissions, Ocasio-Cortez seized the opportunity to characterize Justice Clarence Thomas as “profoundly disrespectful” toward Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.
