Biden is Gaslighting America Into Thinking He’s Trying to Find Ways to Close the Border [VIDEO]

Last Wednesday, amidst an interview with Univision that aired this Tuesday, President Joe Biden explained that the White House is “examining” whether he has the authority to unilaterally close the border and that, while “some have suggested I should just go ahead and try it, and if I get shut down by the court, I get shut down by the court…”

“We’re trying to work through that right now.”

Can you believe how stupid this administration thinks you are?

Enrique Acevedo asked Biden, “Have you made a final decision on taking executive, in terms of what you want to do at the border that includes the power to shut down the border, as it was suggested?”

Biden responded, “We’re examining whether or not I have that power. I would have that power under the legislation when the border has over…5,000 people a day trying to cross the border, because you can’t manage it, slow it up. There’s no guarantee that I have that power all by myself without legislation. And some have suggested I should just go ahead and try it, and if I get shut down by the court, I get shut down by the court, but we’re trying to work through that right now.”

Everyone involved is gaslighting you into thinking Biden wants to shut the border down, but his hands are tied. According to our immigration laws, even after Biden got rid of the Trump-era policies that were so effective, they produced the safest, most secure border, Biden has had the power to shut down the border since day one of his administration. The only reason he hasn’t done so is because he doesn’t want to.

In this instance, Biden is using Univision, a left-wing Hispanic news network, to make it appear that he wants to shut down the border when that is the furthest thing from the truth. The optics that the White House is going for are that Biden is telling a Hispanic network that he’s for closing the border.

Don’t forget that it’s an election year. That means the administration knows what Biden has been doing in terms of his open border policies is wrong.

The Biden administration, from White House mouthpiece Karine Jean-Piere to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, to Kamala Harris, and Joe Biden himself, has told us that our border is secure.

The proof that they are full of crap is that you will not see a single pro-illegal immigration group out there get vocal about Biden’s interview.
