Many leftist Marxists are trying to declare President Trump’s tariffs disasters in the making, even as countries are lining up to lower tariffs and promise to buy more American goods. But long-time Democratic donor Bill Ackman is not one of them. He believes that, at the end of the day, the tariff wars will benefit this country greatly. His tariffs may seem high, but they give him leverage in making trade deals. You can always go down, but you can never go up.
