House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) made an announcement on Fox News that the Joe Biden impeachment investigation will lead to multiple criminal referrals. Comer refused to elaborate on how many referrals or who they might be against, but he was sure that they will be coming after the information his investigation has received. He brought up Hunter Biden and his refusal to testify.
Comer said:
“If he does not show up, then it’s not going to end well for the Bidens, because we have three witnesses that … have already testified under oath to significantly different stories as to what exactly the Biden influence peddling schemes were.”
“This is very serious, because we’re at the point now of criminal referrals.”
Biden and his defenders have sought to counter the impeachment effort, calling it a “sham” inquiry lacking impeachable offenses. This is all bluster since so many witnesses testified to Hunter selling access to Joe and Joe’s meeting with so many of Hunter’s foreign business partners and accepting calls while Hunter was meeting with potential business partners. Not to mention the fact that Tony Bob8ulinksi met with Joe on business a couple of times and his testimony that Joe was the infamous Big Guy.
Comer claims that the White House has obstructed the investigation.

“We have accumulated lots of evidence of wrongdoing, from the 170 suspicious activity reports, to the multiple shell companies that were used to launder the money and then send the ten different Biden family members incremental payments, all the payments from Romania, from Kazakhstan, from Ukraine, from Russia that were sent to the Bidens during — most of which was — happened during Joe Biden’s tenure as vice president of the United States.”
“We have given the Bidens opportunities to explain what business they were actually in. And, as of this point, I can’t tell you a single legitimate business the Bidens had, other than they were influence peddling. And I think most Americans would agree that we don’t need the immediate family of our President of the United States profiting to the tune of tens of millions of dollars from our adversaries around the world.”
“So we’re at the point of holding people accountable for criminal wrongdoing. And I think we have already demonstrated several instances of criminal mischief by multiple members of the Biden family.”
James Comer blasted first son Hunter Biden for his apparent plans to skip this week’s public hearing, threatening that the GOP could make criminal recommendations.
The House Oversight Committee chairman floated the possibility after Hunter Biden’s attorney Abbe Lowell spurned an invite to appear for the Wednesday hearing, dismissing it as a “carnival side-show.”
“I think that we’re at the point in the investigation where we need to hear the discrepancies,” Comer (R-Ky.) told Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.” “I fully expect Hunter Biden to show up.”
The Kentucky Republican spearheading the three-panel impeachment inquiry implied it’s in Hunter Biden’s best interests to show up and refute the accusations peddled by his former business associates.
The other three witnesses scheduled to appear at the March 20 hearing are Hunter Biden’s former business confidants Devon Archer, Tony Bobulinski and Jason Galanis.
All three men have previously testified before the impeachment panel or one of its committees about the Biden family’s alleged influence peddling overseas.
