On Wednesday, while campaigning for Joe Biden ahead of the president’s visit to the southern border, Democratic Representative Robert Garcia took aim at those who have highlighted the number of, often serious, crimes perpetrated by illegal immigrants in recent years.
The California congressman stated that just pointing out the pattern was “racist” and repeated the assertion that immigrants, especially those who entered the country illegally, commit fewer crimes than native-born Americans.
It’s called The Crime of Noticing and the Democrats hate that.
“Immigrants actually commit fewer crimes than native-born people here in this country,” Garcia stated during the news briefing. “This immigrant crime narrative is racist. It’s not true.”
Actually, the study that was done does say that immigrants commit fewer crimes than American citizens, but the study pointed out that it was legal immigrants they were talking about, not illegal immigrants. The same study said that illegal immigrants committed crimes far worse than American criminals did . Democrats do this all the time. Conflate legal immigrants with illegal immigrants. They think that you’re too stupid to realize.
The fact of the matter is, the more illegal immigration increases, the more crime increases. About two-thirds of federal arrests involve illegal immigrants.

While some data show that some illegal immigrants commit fewer crimes than native-born citizens after entering the country, many have pointed out that, while this may be true, every offense committed by an illegal immigrant is completely preventable, as they should not have crossed the border in the first place.
The congressman was arguing that illegal immigrants commit fewer crimes when the very reason they are here is because they broke the law to enter our country illegally. You can’t explain that to a lefty because they’re morons.
Garcia’s remarks follow a string of violent crimes committed by illegal immigrants throughout the United States. Several Venezuelan gang members, for example, have been accused of violently beating NYPD policemen in Times Square and committing thefts, while in January, an El Salvadoran national allegedly murdered a mother and her son in an alcohol-related automobile accident in Broomfield, Colorado.
The murder of Laken Riley, a 22-year-old Augusta University nursing student, has likely done the most to raise awareness of the issue.
Jose Antonio Ibarra, an illegal immigrant, was charged with malice murder, murder, kidnapping, false imprisonment, aggravated assault, aggravated violence, and concealing the death of another after Riley’s body was discovered on the University of Georgia campus in Athens.
