So, let’s break this down. Axios (which got picked up by Politico—so you know it’s serious #eyeroll) reported on a fiery meeting among House Democrat leaders. Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries had a full-on meltdown, especially with Jasmine Crockett and her fellow progressives. Why? Because they embarrassed themselves, and by extension, the party. Jeffries reportedly had a “come to Jesus” moment, absolutely unloading on them over their antics during President Trump’s joint session speech and their subsequent media faceplants. Axios called it “absolutely berating”—which, let’s be real, is just a fancy way of saying, “he lost his mind on them.” You don’t usually see party leadership dragging their own people like this, and yet, here we are.
And why were they so embarrassed? Oh, maybe because Trump knocked his speech out of the park. The numbers don’t lie—CBS clocked nearly 80% approval, CNN had it at 69%, and even CNN (yes, CNN!) admitted that 80% thought Al Green’s interruptions were just plain cringe. When even CNN is throwing Democrats under the bus, you know things are bad. Trump’s “America First” message landed HARD, with voters overwhelmingly backing his stance on government waste (77%), border security (77%), and foreign policy (73%). And here’s the part that really stings—it wasn’t just his usual base cheering him on. Only 51% of respondents even identified as Republicans, meaning Trump’s message is busting through partisan walls like the Kool-Aid Man.
Meanwhile, the Democrats? A complete and utter disaster. They’re getting torched from all angles—media, voters, even their own party members. The press is dragging them over their lack of leadership, incoherent messaging, and growing irrelevance. And then, John Kass of the Chicago Tribune dropped the hammer, describing them as “like inmates in a Victorian lunatic asylum.” Yikes.
Kass wrote:

Secretary of State Marco Rubio just axed 83% of USAID programs, calling them nothing more than Democratic slush funds. And ActBlue? The Democrats’ beloved fundraising machine? It’s on the verge of getting shut down because—surprise!—it’s crawling with corruption.
Victor Davis Hanson didn’t hold back either. He said that Democrats’ obsessive hatred for Trump is basically sending them into political oblivion. Their extreme positions, deranged antics, and complete detachment from reality are pushing away voters faster than they can wave another protest sign. And the polling numbers? Brutal. Quinnipiac has Democrat support circling the drain at 20%, while Trump’s approval is soaring.
Now, get this. Gen Z—yes, the young voters Democrats were banking on—are flipping to Trump. A 20-point shift since previous elections. Even Joshua Cohen over at The Nation (which is about as far from a right-wing outlet as you can get) admitted that young people see Biden as the face of American decline. Economic downturns, insane cost of living, and a job market that feels like a rigged claw machine have made Trump’s “Make America Great Again” message sound pretty appealing.
So, here we are. Two months into Trump’s return to the White House, and Democrats are in what experts call a “doom loop”—a self-inflicted spiral of bad decisions, bad optics, and even worse polling numbers. If they don’t turn this around fast (and let’s be real, what are the odds?), things are only going to get uglier.
And so, the Left is getting involved for the Democrats. They are acting out, violently, against Elon Musk and Tesla.
Elon Musk is once again in the spotlight—but not for launching rockets or tweeting memes. This time, he’s the target of the “Tesla Takedown,” a series of nationwide protests that have been electrifying the nation (pun intended).
In Manhattan, over 350 protesters recently stormed a Tesla showroom, leading to six arrests. Their battle cry? “Nobody voted for Elon Musk,” accompanied by the not-so-catchy slogan, “Oligarchs out, democracy in.” One imaginative sign even suggested, “Send Musk to Mars Now!!”
These demonstrations aren’t confined to the Big Apple. From St. Louis to Charlotte, Tucson to Palo Alto, and even across the pond in Lisbon, Portugal, people are rallying against Musk’s political entanglements and his role in federal spending cuts. In Lisbon, protesters gathered at a Tesla showroom to voice their discontent over Musk’s support for far-right European parties.
Musk’s X platform suffered cyberattacks early Monday. A pro-Hamas group took responsibility. What does Musk have to do with their never-ending beefs? Several attacks hit the network during the morning hourse.
“There was (still is) a massive cyberattack against 𝕏. We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources. Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved,” said Musk on the platform.
While many protests have remained peaceful, there have been unsettling incidents of vandalism and violence. Reports include graffiti defacing Tesla properties, arson attacks on charging stations, and even gunfire targeting dealerships. In Portland, at least seven shots were fired at a Tesla dealership, damaging vehicles and shattering windows.
Musk, never one to shy away from controversy, has pointed fingers at groups he claims are funded by ActBlue, including Troublemakers, Disruption Project, Rise & Resist, Indivisible Project, and Democratic Socialists of America.
The White House, unfazed by the uproar, stated that these “Protests will not deter President Trump and Elon Musk from delivering on the promise to establish DOGE and make our federal government more efficient and more accountable to the hardworking American taxpayers across the country.”
