Billionaire Elon Musk has now joined the growing wave of people cancelling Netflix subscriptions, and honestly, who can blame him? This comes after Hamish Steele, the creator of Netflix’s children’s cartoon show Dead End: Paranormal Park, decided to celebrate the murder of conservative icon Charlie Kirk by calling him a “Nazi.” Classy, right?
Steele, who is best known for making cartoons for kids, went on BlueSky after Kirk’s assassination and posted a rant that could’ve been pulled from a college freshman’s dorm room meltdown.
“Why the fuck are you even commenting on this, dickhead?” Steele said on the social media platform on September 11. “You sympathy for any of the families being slaughtered by your weapons. but a random nazi gets shot and its a public statement. You’re such a fucking evil shit.”
Keep in mind, this guy isn’t just some random troll. He’s the same person Netflix trusted to produce content for children. And if you’re wondering how that worked out, the show was canceled in 2023 after just two seasons. Guess the world wasn’t ready for a cartoon about ghost hunting with gender ideology sprinkled in.
Libs of TikTok caught Steele’s little tantrum and blasted it out on X for everyone to see.
OMG. Dead End Paranormal Park, a show on Netflix, is pushing pro-transgender on CHILDREN.

And then, just to hammer it home, Libs of TikTok pointed out exactly who the creator of this show is. Spoiler alert: it’s exactly who you think.
You will never guess who the creator of this show is… a he/they lgbtq bluesky fan who mocked Charlie’s m*rder and called him a nazi

The backlash was quick. Not long after, Elon Musk himself chimed in. In response to a tweet from former Department of Energy staffer Matt Van Swol, who wrote “Just cancelled my Netflix subscription,” Musk replied with a simple “Same.” That’s it. No explanation. Just “Same.” And you could almost hear Netflix executives start sweating.

It turns out Steele is not alone. He’s just one of thousands—yes, thousands—of educators, healthcare workers, bureaucrats, and even elected officials who openly cheered Kirk’s assassination. Think about that. These are the same people lecturing everyone else about kindness, tolerance, and safety.
And if you’re wondering why parents are starting to pull their kids out of this entertainment mess, look no further than Steele’s own cartoon. On Tuesday, after Libs of TikTok highlighted how Dead End: Paranormal Park was marketed to children as young as seven while promoting transgender storylines, the reaction was exactly what you’d expect. Parents were furious. Or as Libs of TikTok put it, “Parents- BEWARE.”
So there you have it. A children’s cartoon creator celebrating political assassinations, a streaming giant platforming him, and Elon Musk leading the charge for families finally saying enough is enough.
