Rev. Franklin Graham delivered a powerful rebuke to leftists who mocked prayer in the wake of the horrific school shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota, by a Trump-hating trans person.
What brought this on was Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey went nuts over millions of Americans sending thoughts and prayers to the victims’ families after the mentally ill transgender monster shot and killed them while attending mass.

Graham shared his thoughts in a Facebook post on Friday, telling critics that their efforts are powerless to stop the communication between God and His people.
In his message, Graham reminded Americans that prayer has always been the cornerstone of faith during times of crisis. For generations, believers have turned to God in moments of grief, loss, and fear—not because prayer magically erases tragedy, but because it anchors the soul in hope and draws strength from the One who reigns above all circumstances.
“To the Democratic Mayor of Minneapolis and the other socialist left who have criticized calling for prayer in the aftermath of the tragic school shooting—your words do not change or diminish the power and importance of prayer,” he wrote.
He explained that prayer is not a magical escape from tragedy, but the divine way to seek God’s comfort, mercy, and intervention:
“Because someone calls for prayer doesn’t mean that bad things aren’t going to happen or that the emergency is going to disappear, we all know that. But prayer is our opportunity to communicate directly with the God of Heaven and take our petitions to Him. God does see, God does hear, and God can intervene. The Bible says, “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). What a gift this is. The Bible tells us that Jesus Himself prayed fervently when He was facing death on the cross. In the case of these students who were shot and killed while praying, God can give comfort and peace to the families who have been devastated. The god of this age is Satan—he is the one who wants to steal, kill, and destroy. He is the author of all lies and the turmoil and violence that ensues—like this senseless shooting. The Bible teaches that one day Jesus Christ will return and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. He will wipe away every tear, and peace will come upon this world, because He is the Prince of Peace—He is the embodiment of peace, truth, and righteousness. He will judge those who are alive and those who are dead. Yes, we pray, and I will continue to encourage people to pray. Satan would like nothing better than to thwart the most vital tool God has given us—prayer. Mayor Frey, I hope that you will come to know the price that was paid for your sins and that you will understand the value of prayer in your own life.”
On Thursday, California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) joined the chorus of Democrats ridiculing prayer, saying:

Reports reveal the shooter harbored a deep hatred for Christianity and, at age 17, changed his name from Robert to Robin after beginning to identify as female.
Democrats built the trans monster in this country. They weaponized the DSM-5 crowd into a political army that despises Christians. Why? Because Christians believe only God has dominion over humanity. Meanwhile, the trans movement crowns itself little gods, claiming power to redefine what God already created. So when Christians stand firm on truth, the trans activists see it as an existential threat and lash out with hate and violence.
The truth is, Democrats like Frey and Newsom exposed themselves. They pretended to care about the children praying in church when they were shot and/or killed, but their real goal was to push more gun control laws to take away guns from law-abiding gun owners who never shot Christians in a church. So far, the trans movement has done so twice.
The final truth is one the legacy media will never admit—because they helped create it. Violent leftist transgender radicals like Robert Westman are the product of a culture the left built, maintained, and enabled. They inflated gender dysphoria into a political movement, pretending it was a massive community when in reality it’s a fringe. The fad of transgenderism never would have survived this long without the fake news networks propping it up and selling it to America. Without the fake news propping it up, the fad of transgenderism would’ve collapsed years ago, and numerous children would still be alive.
