California governor Gavin Newsom has dismissed speculation that he may run for president in 2024, saying it is time to move past the notion that Vice President Joe Biden will not run.
During a preview clip of an interview slated to appear on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday, Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) suggested Vice President Kamala Harris was the inevitable successor to President Joe Biden if he did not run in 2024.
When Joe Biden took the oath of office in January 2021, he became the oldest president to do so. He would be 86 by the end of a possible second term, prompting many Democrats to doubt whether he should fight for re-election and whether he would be able to complete the entire term.
“Filing deadlines haven’t passed,” remarked anchor Chuck Todd. “Why should we consider you a potential candidate if President Biden does not run?”
“Well, I think the vice president is naturally the one lined up, and the filing deadlines are quickly coming to pass, and I think we need to move past this notion that he’s not going to run. President Biden is going to run,” Newsom said. “President Biden is going to run, and we’re looking forward to getting him reelected. I think there has been so much wallowing in the last few months and hammering in this respect, but we are gearing up for the campaign we are looking forward to it.”
“You hear these calls?” Todd inquired. “What do you say to donors who are wallowing?”

“Am I supposed to interpret that comment about the vice president that if some reason the president doesn’t run everyone rallies around her?” Todd wondered.
“It’s the Biden-Harris administration,” Newsom explained. “Maybe I’m a little old-fashioned about presidents and vice presidents. I was a lieutenant governor, so I’m a little subjective.”
Since most Democrats lie through their teeth, I am going to go out on a limb and speculate that Newsom is only saying this to benefit himself politically. Newsom is a political whore who would wet himself if the party asked him to run for the golden throne in DC.
I believe he is only going through this farce of saying it’s a Biden-Harris world because he believes the rumors that Michelle (Michael) Obama is going to announce sometime over the next couple of months. It would not look good if the party got Michelle to run to save it from the disaster that Joe Biden has created and Newsom gave her a primary challenge. As they did with Hillary Clinton, the DNC will rig the primary in favor of Michelle Obama. Anyone who participates in a primary against her will be punished accordingly.
As for Michelle being talked into running, I didn’t think she would ever consider it. She wouldn’t want to take the pay cut. However, now that she and her husband have grifted millions from America, she may just want the power that comes with the Oval Office to fulfill her own Marxist dreams to end America as we know it once and for all.
