Jim Jordan Sends Final Warning To Trump Judge’s Daughter With Ties To Kamala

Rep Jim Jordan, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee has sent a final warning to the lawyer of Michael Nellis, the CEO of a political consulting firm that employs the daughter of New York State Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan. In the letter Jordan made it clear that this was their final warning and that failure to comply would lead to criminal charges.

Nellis is now between a rock and a hard place because if he does not respond, he will faces charges for contempt and if he does comply, he faces perjury charges. It’s a lose/lose proposition. It couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. One of his employees is Loren Merchan, the daughter of corrupt judge Juan Merchan. She and her company profited from her fathers illicit rulings in the trial of President Trump. Merchan is overseeing the hush money trial. This despite the fact that Trump used his own funds, not his campaign cash and that he did not write the money off on his taxes.

Loren Merchan, is the president of Authentic Campaigns, which represents Democrats such as Democratic California Rep. Adam Schiff, who was the head of Trump’s first impeachment trial. Jordan has also pointed out that the firm has received $9 million from Democrat campaigns. That includes $2 million from the Biden-Harris campaign in 2020.

Jordan wrote in the letter:

“On August 28, 2024, the Committee on the Judiciary issued your client, Michael Nellis, a subpoena for two categories of documents relating to the Committee’s oversight of the Manhattan District Attorney’s political prosecution of President Trump. On the subpoena’s return date, September 13, 2024, you sent a letter on Mr. Nellis’s behalf outlining your objections to the subpoena.”

Jordan told Nellis that he would need to sit down with his committee to answer questions and that he would need to sign a letter under threat of purjury that no one from hisa company had communications with unfit Judge Merchan.

Nellis has since called Jordan’s investigation “absurd and completely false.” How can an investigation be false ince it’s goal is to gather information and not make accusations until proof is produced.

Nellis wrote:

“However, this has not stopped MAGA world conspiracy theorists from harassing our employees and sending death threats to some of our families.”

Jordan continued:

“These objections mirror concerns that your client has raised, and the Committee has addressed, in previous correspondence. The objections to the subpoena are unfounded and unpersuasive, and do not excuse your client’s noncompliance with the subpoena. The Committee writes to overrule your objections and to provide Mr. Nellis a final opportunity to comply with the subpoena.”
