Because states can force people who want to register to vote to produce proof of citizenship, this is a major setback for Democrats, who have flooded the country with illegal aliens who can then take advantage of the system to vote. I have often wondered what the Founding Fathers would say about abortion, illegal immigration, transgender ideology, and many of the other radical policies of the Democrats.
They point to the Constitution to prove that abortion is permissible, but no one even considered the fact that people would want to kill their babies. They also never considered that men would want to become women or women wanting to be men. And they definitely never expected to let millions of illegals enter the country to vote. All of these ideas would have been considered to be absurd. And don’t expect Americans to shed any tears over the fact that illegals can’t vote.
Arizona Republicans passed HB2492, introduced by State Rep. Jake Hoffman, which says you must prove your citizenship to register to vote. This law includes federal voters who are not required to prove their citizenship to vote. I would favor a federal law mandating the deportation of any illegal who registers to vote and then votes. Actually, I would favor deporting anyone who votes for Democrats. Of course, I know that would be impossible and not the right thing to do. But I can dream, can’t I?
Joe Biden’s Department of Justice previously sued Arizona over this law, citing the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA). But, illegal aliens do not and should not be protected because their very existence in this country is not legal. The law also mandates that the voter rolls be stripped of any voter who dies or moves out of the state.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, a Clinton-appointed federal Judge blocked this law from being enforced in the 2022 Elections.

However, District Judge Susan Bolton disagreed and accurately concluded that “promoting public confidence in Arizona’s elections outweighs the limited burden voters might encounter when required to provide [documentary proof of citizenship].”
The Hill reports,
U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton concluded Thursday that state legislators did not discriminate when they adopted the voting laws in 2022, and that the state has an interest in preventing voter fraud, The Associated Press reported.
“Considering the evidence as a whole, the court concludes that Arizona’s interests in preventing non-citizens from voting and promoting public confidence in Arizona’s elections outweighs the limited burden voters might encounter when required to provide [documentary proof of citizenship],” Bolton wrote.
She said part of the law, which requires individuals using a state registration form to include the state or country where they were born, violated part of the Civil Rights Act and the National Voter Registration Act “because the provision will result in the investigation of only naturalized citizens” based on the county recorder’s beliefs that a naturalized citizen is a noncitizen.
The Justice Department, the Democratic National Committee and voting groups filed legal challenges to the bills, signed into law by former Gov. Doug Ducey (R), arguing they were racially discriminatory.
