The whole Trump trial thing is just wild, isn’t it? Little by little, it’s being shown for the show trial that it has become. They’re really trying to nail him for some payments made to his former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, regarding that whole Stormy Daniels saga back in 2006. Apparently, the prosecution is claiming Trump and his company cooked the books to cover up paying hush money to Stormy. Scandalous, I know! But was Trump actually involved in the mechanics of what the commie prosecutors are trying to claim?
So, this happened: one of Trump’s former money guys, Jeffrey McConney, straight up said under oath that Trump himself didn’t actually order any of those reimbursement payments to Cohen. Can you believe that? The prosecutors are basically arguing that Trump orchestrated this whole financial felony scheme, but one of their own witnesses is like, “Nah, he didn’t tell us to do any of that.”
Defense attorney Emil Bove asked, “President Trump did not ask you to do any of the things you just described … correct?”
McConney replied, “He did not.” So, then why is Trump even there?
It’s almost comical at this point. The defense attorney was grilling McConney, saying stuff like “payments to lawyers are just legal expenses, right? Nothing illegal about that!” And McConney had to admit, yeah, Trump never personally instructed them on any of this shady business. Oops, prosecution!
Of course, they’re still trying to argue that Trump’s CFO, Allen Weisselberg, did authorize those payments, but still – you’d think the supposed mastermind might’ve been a bit more hands-on, you know? Unless the prosecutors are really pushing the idea that Trump is just hopelessly out of the loop on anything his company is doing. Which, let’s be real, doesn’t exactly paint him as a criminal genius,

Like, why even bother with that threat when it seems pretty clear this is all one big politically motivated sham trial? The Biden administration is just shameless with their desperate attempts to take down Trump before 2024. And it’s not working because the American people can spot a scam a mile away, and they empathize with Trump because they know what the Democrats are doing to him is not fair.
The Left will cry foul and accuse the witness of lying, but the only liar in the trial is the convicted perjurer Michael Cohen.
At this rate, we’ll be watching this circus for weeks. I, for one, can’t wait to see what other bombshells get dropped that accidentally makes Trump look even less guilty. This is better than reality TV.
