New York City Mayor Eric Adams is under criticism for reportedly resettling illegal aliens from around the country and throughout the world in the Big Apple.
Between April 2022 and April 2023, it is estimated that the city spent at least $50,000 in taxpayer funds on planes that transported 114 migrant households to over a dozen states and five countries, including China, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador. So they sent many of them to a communist regime that may put them in reeducation camps and the rest went to shithole countries they were fleeing from. Way to go, NY! #eyeroll
Several states have taken in immigrants as part of the resettlement process, including 28 households in Florida, 14 in Texas, six in North Carolina, and 5 in Illinois.
Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott reacted quickly to the news, arguing that the decision was hypocritical considering the mayor’s earlier declaration that busing migrants was considered “morally bankrupt.”
“Instead of these hypocritical charades, Mayor Adams needs to call on President Biden and Congress to step up and do their jobs to secure the southern border,” an Abbott official said in a statement.

VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELDespite the criticism, Mayor Adams’ spokesperson Kate Smart defended the administration’s actions, arguing that the move was unlike what Abbott and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had done.
“We are not coercing people to leave, we are not suggesting or recommending locations, and we are not presenting any kind of false choice,” Smart explained. “We assist people who wish to reconnect with loved ones or communities.”
Neither did Abbot nor DeSantis. They had the illegals sign forms saying that it was voluntary. The real difference here is that unlike Eric Adams and New York City, governors Abbott and DeSantis did not virtue signal America by claiming to be a sanctuary for illegal aliens who committed a crime by illegally crossing our border. Eric Adams and his predecessor Bill de Blasio showed America how wonderful they are and how compassionate they are by declaring New York City as a sanctuary for illegals, but then when push came to shove and they actually received less than 1% of the illegals that Texas receives every day, they toss them away like day old Martha’s Vineyard trash.
Adams had previously chastised Abbott, calling his actions “horrific.” At the same time, Adams had no idea what was going on at the southern border where whole towns have been destroyed by illegals pouring in by the thousands daily and using up local services. The NYC mayor never questioned President Joe Biden’s asinine immigration policies, which basically is they will not enforce illegal immigration laws.
“It is unimaginable what the Governor of Texas has done,” he remarked at a press conference. “When you think about this country, a country that has always been open to those who are fleeing persecution and other intolerable conditions.”
What is unimaginable is a political party that has allowed an invasion of third-world paupers who think that American taxpayers owe them a living for the rest of their lives and Eric Adams is a member of that party.
The reality of the situation is that the Democratic Party has allowed over seven million illegal aliens to come into our country and roam the nation freely in less than three years. The Biden administration will do absolutely nothing to make it easier on American citizens whose lives have been turned upside down by the invasion of illegal aliens thanks to Democrat policies. And to send a message to other Democrat jurisdictions that brag about being sanctuary cities, Governor Abbott sent a tiny fraction of what Texas receives each and every day to those sanctuaries, and the Democrats running those sanctuaries are bitching and griping that they can’t handle the load, yet they will not accept that their party leader in DC is the cause of all the strife this situation has caused millions of Americans. That makes guys like Eric Adams a super hypocrite.
