On Friday’s episode of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher argued that under our current system, immigration has not been beneficial to the United States, and the reaction of sanctuary communities that have migrants being bused to them demonstrates this.
Maher started by claiming that “some immigration” is “the lifeblood of this country.”
Later in the episode, CNN Senior Political Commentator and former Obama Adviser Van Jones said, “Immigration is good for America. It’s positive for America.”
Maher replied, “Not the way we’re doing it.”
He went on to say, “And you would also allow, I would imagine, that the sanctuary cities, the hypocrisy was exposed there. Because when they started to send the immigrants to those cities…some of the most liberal people are like, oh, this doesn’t work for us.”
The liberals at Martha’s Vineyard shipped the illegal aliens they received from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in under 48 hours of their arrival. Martha’s Vineyard, prior to that, has always declared itself to be a sanctuary city.

It’s like if somebody figured out a quasi-legal way to jump the turnstiles into the subway, and suddenly now, the subway is full of people who didn’t pay. That’s what’s going on at the border, people are jumping the turnstile. And you need to fix that.” He also said that sanctuary cities did not want migrants deported to them.
The problem with Jones’s argument is that the current system works the way it should work. To become a US citizen shouldn’t be as easy as jumping a turnstile in the NYC subway. It should be difficult. Immigrants need to be vetted properly before we allow them in, let alone make them citizens. Van Jones would change his tune if it were known that illegal aliens overwhelmingly would vote Republican. Jones would do a GoFundMe campaign to purchase a large enough catapult so they can shoot the illegal back across the Rio Grande 24/7.
Later, Maher said that, as with any important topic, “there are winners and losers. It’s true, the people who are just above immigrants on the economic scale. They always get f*cked when immigrants come into the country.”
And then we had Van Jones repeating the latest big lie floated by the Democratic Party, that the border situation is the way it is because of Donald Trump and the Republicans in Congress.

Ann Coulter was right. Biden has done everything he can to bring in up to 10 million illegal migrants over the last three years, including breaking every immigration law we have. He has used taxpayer money to bring them here, to spread them out across the country, to feed them, to clothe them, and to house them.
Biden’s Homeland Security secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas, was just impeached for breaking so many laws by allowing a completely open border that, no mistake, will affect every American negatively in due time.
And let’s be honest about Donald Trump. We had zero new wars. Trump brokered peace in the Middle East, and he never gets credit for it. Trump cut taxes, and it benefited 80% of Americans who work. Trump solved the border problem. Trump’s goal was zero illegals. Granted, you’re not going to be able to stop every one of those criminals who come into our country illegally, but at least his goal was zero. Trump gave us a thriving economy, the strongest in our nation’s history. Black and Hispanic unemployment were at the lowest recorded levels ever.
The most sickening part about Van Jones is that Donald Trump reached out to him to work on legislation that was real prison reform. The First Step act gave a second chance to many black people who were given long prison sentences for non-violent crimes, something Senator Joe Biden wrote into the 1994 Crime Bill that President Bill Clinton signed into law. Trump worked with Van Jones to end generational crime that is destroying black youth in Democrat-run cities across the country. So for Van Jones to come out and lie this way against Trump shows he has no soul. He is nothing more than a soldier for the communist Democratic Party.
Now, let’s be honest about Van Jones.
Jones served as President Barack Obama’s Special Advisor for Green Jobs in 2009. That is, until the country discovered that Van Jones is a practicing communist. Today, it wouldn’t mean much of anything because the Democratic Party has since gone full commie, but back then, if you were a communist, it meant that you were anti-American, and you could not serve in a president’s administration, even if the president was himself a commie. It still means that you’re anti-American today, but the Democrats have learned that so long as mind-numbed robots continue to vote for them, they can openly push commie ideas.
We know that the Democrats blame Republicans for everything they are doing. They know we know it, yet they still do it every chance they get. But this is something else altogether. To have all the evidence of three years of a border crisis and to have ignored pleas from inside government and out to help stop Biden’s invasion, to blame it all on Trump and Republicans because you want to create a fake kind of shaming to get Republicans to vote for a border bill that does nothing to stop illegals from coming in and has billions in Ukraine aid tied to it, makes the Democratic Party the biggest scumbag organization on earth.
