Google notified Dennis Prager’s “PragerU” on Friday morning that its app has been removed from the Play Store for “Violation of Hate Speech Policy.” The bogus “violation” was related to ‘Dear Infidels: A Warning to America’, a short documentary presenting “first-hand accounts from individuals who escaped the oppressive grip of Islamic rule.”
How is that hate speech?

Google’s hate speech policy says:
“We don’t allow apps that promote violence, or incite hatred against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or any other characteristic that is associated with system discrimination or marginalization.”
PragerU said in a statement:
“Google is using Soviet-style tactics and attempting to silence us. According to Google, sharing the stories of a former Palestinian refugee, an Arab Muslim born in Israel, and brave U.S. Navy SEALs who witnessed the horrors of Muslim extremism constitutes ‘hate speech.’ This is a blatant attempt to silence truth and censor speech.”
This is not the first battle between Google and PragerU, and it is unlikely to be the last. PragerU has already sued Google and YouTube for video limitations, many of which are still in place today.
