Without President Trump on the ticket, the establishment Republicans are actually fighting against voter fraud. They wouldn’t do this in 2020 because President Trump is a major threat to establishment politics. Mitch McConnell has pulled back money from several Senate races involving MAGA candidates so that he could dump it all on the Super Rino Lisa Murkowski, who has endorsed the Democrat for the only House seat in Alaska. That goes with her endorsement of Nancy Pelosi to remain Speaker of the House.
So far this year another RINO Ronna McDaniel has filed 73 lawsuits in twenty states. But, at least she does want Republicans to win control 0of the House. The lawsuits are varied and she has already won a number of them. Will she fight just as hard when Trump is back on the ticket again? I’m not betting on it, are you? She has won several lawsuits on poll watchers. In Michigan, they can no longer throw out poll watchers or keep them from observing the counting.
Other lawsuits in swing states include the counting of mismarked ballots and contesting lawsuits brought by Biden against states with new voter integrity laws. They have also sued Secretaries of State who are trying to implement rules that violate state and federal laws. That includes ballot harvesting and allowing clerks to “fix” ballots instead of returning them to the voters to correct and accepting ballots that come in after election day.
The strategy comes two years after a cycle that left some Republicans wanting a bigger effort to rein in state election activities and a presidential election result that prompted former President Trump to file dozens of lawsuits. One GOP group welcomed the decision to take aggressive legal steps to make sure states aren’t allowed to stretch their election rules beyond what’s in state law.
The lawsuits are the result of a “multimillion-dollar investment into building an election integrity operations infrastructure that draws on its legal, political, data and communications resources,” according to RNC spokesperson Gates McGavick.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELIn Vermont and New York, for example, the RNC sued to strike down voting laws that would allow non-U.S. citizens to vote. In June, it successfully argued in the New York State Supreme Court to strike down a law that would have added at least 900,000 non-citizens to voter rolls.
On Oct. 16, the RNC sued after Pennsylvania’s decision to dodge state law and a Supreme Court ruling by saying it will count undated absentee ballots.
Michael Bars, executive director of the Election Transparency Initiative said:
“After the shortcomings of the last election, a proactive and pre-emptive legal strategy is critical to the election integrity voters deserve in 2022, 2024 and beyond, significant strides” have been made over the last two years to “restore voters’ faith in fair and secure elections.”
Ronna McDaniel said in a statement:
“Jocelyn Benson not only disregarded Michigan election law in issuing this guidance, she also violated the rights of political parties and poll challengers to fully ensure transparency and promote confidence that Michigan elections are run fairly and lawfully.”
