Democratic incumbent Senate candidates in critical battleground states are increasingly leaning to the center and right, as surveys show President Biden lagging former President Trump in numerous key swing areas.
According to Fox News polling conducted last month, Biden is trailing Trump in six battleground states with around six months until the election, including Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and North Carolina.
Nevada Democratic Sen. Jacky Rosen has made a point of highlighting her bipartisan credentials on the campaign road.
“I know what Nevada families are going through,” Rosen stated in her first ad announcing her reelection campaign. “It’s why I first ran for Congress. And it’s why in the Senate, I’ve worked with both parties to solve problems. And always focused on making a difference in people’s lives.”
Rosen, like many other incumbent Democrats, is facing a difficult reelection campaign against the backdrop of Biden’s historically low support ratings, despite voting with the president 98.6% of the time last year, according to Fox News Digital.
“Since day one, Sen. Jacky Rosen has worked to get things done in a bipartisan way,” according to a Rosen campaign representative. “That’s why she’s been recognized as one of the most bipartisan and effective senators in the nation. No matter what year it is, Sen. Rosen will always be focused on bringing Republicans and Democrats together to deliver for Nevadans.”
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELSenator Rosen has a liberty score of 7%, which means that 93% of the time, she votes against liberty for her constituents.

Longtime Democratic Sen. Bob Casey is up for reelection in Pennsylvania, a key swing state that Biden narrowly won in 2020 in a fight he admits will be “tough.”
Casey recently distanced himself from the defund the police movement, despite recent endorsements from groups calling for the defense of police agencies and promoting a measure that would have changed enforcement methods during the 2020 protests and riots.
Casey has been under fire from his Republican opponent, businessman Dave McCormick, for purportedly shifting opinions on critical subjects such as immigration over the years, especially as he is up for re-election.
The Pennsylvania Democrat has adopted a populist message on the economy, where Biden is losing support among voters, according to Fox News polling, by attacking “greedflation” – a blunt term for corporations that raise prices and rip off customers to maximize profits – and attempting to reframe the election-year economic narrative.
“Casey’s biggest vulnerability is the Biden administration,” Republican consultant Vince Galko recently told the Philadelphia Inquirer. “Casey wins or loses based on what Biden does in the next couple of months.”
Casey campaign spokesperson Maddy McDaniel told Fox News Digital, “Bob Casey is consistently ranked among the most effective and bipartisan senators in Washington and has worked across the aisle to create jobs and lower costs. Meanwhile, his opponent, David McCormick, has only worked to increase his bottom line, from outsourcing American jobs to investing in Chinese military companies.”
I would love it if campaign spokespeople were forced to provide evidence to back up claims like that. Bob Casey is a partisan Democrat who does whatever Chuck Schumer tells him to do.
Bob Casey has a liberty score of 6%. That’s out of 100%, folks. That score means that 94% of the time, Bob Casey casts a vote that does not protect and defend liberty of Pennsylvanians.

In Wisconsin, Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin is running in a state Trump won in 2016 but narrowly lost in 2020, and she has tried to frame herself as a “pro worker” candidate who advocates for the needs of the working class.
While Baldwin frequently emphasizes her ties with Biden, she recently joined several other vulnerable Democrats in opposing the president’s October decision to unfreeze Iranian assets.
“Tammy Baldwin is willing to work with and stand up to anyone if it means getting the job done for Wisconsin,” said Baldwin campaign spokesperson Andrew Mamo to Fox News Digital. “She has stood up for our workers by voting to repeal President Biden’s policy that let China cheat in the solar industry and successfully pausing his Indo-Pacific trade deal, and has gone to bat for our farmers by taking on the FDA for their wrongheaded decision to allow plant-based products to use the good name of Wisconsin milk.”
Tammy Baldwin has a liberty score of 2%, which means 98% of the time she votes against liberty for her constituents.

Incumbent Democratic senators in Ohio and Montana are also in tight elections, with the Cook Political Report designating each as a “toss-up,” causing each senator to publicly espouse more moderate positions.
Sherrod Brown, a Democrat who has represented Ohio in the Senate since 2007, is fighting for reelection in a state that Trump won by eight points in 2020 and is projected to win again.
Brown, who voted with Biden 99% of the time from 2021 to 2023 and 97% of the time after 2023, has recently disagreed with the president on a few matters.
Brown became only the second Democrat to oppose Biden’s electric vehicle tax credit scheme earlier this month, according to Politico, and he also disagreed with the president on his repeal of Title 42 the previous year.
Sherrod Brown has a liberty score of 2%. Ninety-eight percent of the time he votes against liberty for his constituents.

Montana Democratic Senator Jon Tester, who is running in a state that Trump won by nearly 20 points in 2020, has been labeled by his Republican opponent Tim Sheehy as “two-faced” during election years, and has taken stances to the right of Biden on critical issues such as immigration.
Tester recently became the first Democrat in the Senate to support the Laken Riley Act, which would require federal officials to arrest illegal immigrants charged with crimes such as burglary, similar to the illegal immigrant accused of killing the 22-year-old Georgia nursing student after whom the bill is named.
Tester has vocally attacked Biden’s border policy and recently obtained over $10 million to bolster law enforcement in Montana.
“Jon Tester does what’s best for Montana. President Trump has signed more than 20 of his bills into law, including ones to assist veterans, reduce government waste and abuse, and support our first responders, and Jon stood up to President Biden by demanding action to secure our border and protect Montana’s way of life,” Tester campaign spokesperson Monica Robinson told Fox News Digital. “That’s why Jon has been ranked one of the most effective U.S. senators of either party.”
Jon Tester has a liberty score of 8%, meaning 92% of the time he votes against liberty for his constituents.

To give some perspective, Republican Senator Mike Lee of Utah has a liberty score of 94%.

While incumbent Democrats around the country shift to the middle and position themselves as pragmatic problem solvers who work across the aisle, Biden is accused of shifting even further to the left on matters such as the Israel-Hamas conflict and student loan forgiveness, where he is defying a Supreme Court ruling that told him he can’t forgive debt.
Biden has drawn criticism, especially from his own donors, for threatening to halt arms shipments to Israel if they continue their military effort to drive Hamas out of Rafah, Gaza. Republicans claim that Biden is siding with progressive activists inside his own party in an attempt to win over votes in important battleground states such as Dearborn, Michigan, rather than fully supporting Israel.
According to Axios, the president has made a considerable effort in recent months to reclaim his Democratic base, holding events with progressives such as Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt), and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), in April and delivering a “flurry of left-leaning policy announcements.” He must consider two radical socialists his base.
Biden’s support and popularity in key battleground states remain historically low as Republicans become increasingly enthusiastic about regaining control of the Senate, which Democrats currently hold 51-49.
The Democratic Party is fractured. Candidates cannot use President Biden to gin up their supporters. Biden is like the plague to them. I’m certain many of them asked him not to endorse them. That would be a death knell for their campaigns. I think Republicans need to exploit this and point out that the Democratic Party is splitting apart just 6 months before the election.
