For Virginia voters who are considering voting for Terry McAuliffe for governor on November 2, who has already served as the 72nd governor of Virginia from 2014 to 2018, there are some things you have to learn about him before you just pull that lever to cast your vote just because he has a “D” next to his name. Many younger voters don’t have a clue who this man is.
Besides the fact that a number of political groups that focus on women and black voters have been sending him a message that it’s not his time right now, he’s running, because he believes they are going to vote for him, anyway. It’s your time to prove him wrong.
Back in December 2020 after The Washington Post broke the news that McAuliffe was going to announce he was running, Carroll Foy, who also announced her candidacy for the governor’s seat within weeks of McAuliffe, fired the first shots across the bow of the primary in a statement she emailed to the press.
“While I respect Terry McAuliffe’s service, he doesn’t understand the problems Virginians face,” she said. “A former political party boss and multi-millionaire, Terry McAuliffe is simply out of touch with everyday Virginians.”
The first problem I have with her statement is she said she respects McAuliffe’s service. The man was a scumbag from the day he stepped into the political limelight.
Terry McAuliffe was a political operative for the Clinton family. He served as co-chairman of President Bill Clinton’s 1996 re-election campaign; he was Chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) from 2001 to 2005, and chairman of Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign.

Let’s not forget some other errands McAuliffe did for Hillary Clinton.
June 26, 2015 Politico put out a piece saying McAuliffe told some political friends that he was too busy doing his day job [serving as governor] to be involved in any formal responsibilities in his friend Hillary’s campaign. And he didn’t, because everything he did for Mrs. Clinton was done in the shadows of secrecy.
Back in 2015, Dr. Jill McCabe, who is married to former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, was running for state senate in Virginia. According to campaign finance records (something that most voters never think about), McAuliffe’s political action committee donated $467,500 to Jill McCabe’s state senate campaign.
Then, the Virginia Democratic Party, which McAuliffe controlled back then, donated $207,788 worth of support to Jill McCabe’s campaign. That’s a total of over $675,000 for a newcomer in politics. Wow! How lucky was she? She got more than a third of all of her campaign donations thanks to one man, Terry McAuliffe, who used to work for the Clintons.

The FBI said in a statement that during his wife’s campaign Mr. McCabe “played no role, attended no events, and did not participate in fundraising or support of any kind. Months after the completion of her campaign, then-Associate Deputy Director McCabe was promoted to Deputy, where, in that position, he assumed for the first time, an oversight role in the investigation into Secretary Clinton’s emails.”
Remember, Hillary Clinton committed a crime when she served as Secretary of State under the Obama administration by using a private email server to conduct the business of her office. That’s not me saying that. The Espionage Act that says it is a crime for any person in charge of any document “through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust…“
What that means is the Congress felt so strongly about protecting government information that they made it a crime to release any document, classified or not, from the proper place of custody (under government control) and Hillary’s private email server sent and received government documents outside of their proper custody. The penalty was up to 10 years in prison.
So at the time Hillary was running for president and she had this email server scandal on the horizon, it just so happens that the wife of the man who was recently promoted and put in charge of Hillary’s private email server investigation received over half a million dollars thanks to a governor who used get coffee for the Clintons. Clinton was working for the same administration just a couple of years prior. She left the State Department in 2013.
If you don’t think that the McCabe’s good fortune was done to throw the private email server investigation, then I have some wonderful miracle supplements I would love to sell you.
On a side note, McCabe was later fired from the FBI for lying to FBI investigators, which the FBI takes very seriously. He was involved in the Trump-Russia collusion hoax, among other scandals. The Biden administration just restored his job and gave him $200,000 in back pay and he got his pension back. He was a disgrace of a man and a Democrat president wants the world to forget it.
I could spend all day talking about the loathsome things that Terry McAuliffe did, but I’ll end it with just one more. And this one is a story where he once again helped Hillary from those shadows of secrecy.
McAuliffe, obviously, wanted Hillary to win Virginia in 2016. He knew it would be tough for the dragon lady because though the mainstream media and pollsters were lying about Clinton, some saying she had a 98% chance of winning, internally; the Democrats knew she was in trouble.
McAuliffe’s answer was initially to grant Virginia felons the right to vote because the Democrats knew the overwhelming majority would vote for Hillary and any other Democrat for the rest of their lives. It was illegal in those days for felons to vote. It wasn’t until this year that the other wretched governor of the Old Dominion, Ralph Northam, restored voting rights for felons.
A Virginia court overturned the executive order McAuliffe signed, with no authority behind it, that affected 206,000 ex-offenders in the state. The court ruled that McAuliffe did not have the authority to do so under the Virginia Constitution. You can’t really blame McAuliffe for this. Being a Democrat, he probably never read the state Constitution.
“Never before have any of the prior 71 Virginia Governors issued a clemency order of any kind — including pardons, reprieves, commutations, and restoration orders — to a class of unnamed felons without regard for the nature of the crimes or any other individual circumstances relevant to the request,” the majority wrote. “To be sure, no Governor of this Commonwealth, until now, has even suggested that such a power exists. And the only Governors who have seriously considered the question concluded that no such power exists.”
But here is why Terry McAuliffe does not deserve to be elected governor of Virginia for a second time. With his executive order overturned, he had to find another way to help Hillary Clinton win the race and this time he stooped so low it denies belief in a Benevolent Being.
Terry McAuliffe pardoned 60,000 felons, which were enough votes to swing the state’s presidential election outcome.
I actually remember this vividly because I remember I was so dumbfounded that a politician, even a Democrat, would do something so low to cheat in an election.

“Laws no longer matter to powerful people interested in keeping their power,” said J. Christian Adams, President and General Counsel of the Public Interest Legal Foundation, which wants to inspect list maintenance records regarding the tens of thousands of individuals recently given rights by the Governor. “We have asked state election officials to inspect records demonstrating the extent of the Governor’s lawlessness.”
Liberals reading may not care because it was to help Hillary Clinton. But I ask you to consider the ramifications of the things Terry McAuliffe did without caring one iota for the victims of those 60,000 people who hurt them.
That’s 60,000 felons who no longer have that felony conviction. Since 1994, Virgina had a three strikes law that said after getting three violent felony convictions, the felon got life in prison.
How many of those 60,000 felons were on their second felony, which made them think twice before committing another violent crime? Now, they have none thanks to a Democrat governor who thought it was more important for them to vote for Hillary Clinton than live with their punishment. Now they were free to ruin someone else’s life. #ThanksTerry!
How many of those pardoned 60,000 felons had upon condition of their sentencing to pay restitution to their victims for what their crimes cost the victims in pain and suffering, medical treatment, lost wages, property, etc? Now, their felony conviction(s) never existed because Terry McAuliffe wanted to help the dragon lady beat Donald Trump.
Terry McAuliffe also recently said out loud that he doesn’t think parents should dictate to the school boards what their children are taught, believing instead that it is up to the school board and teachers. This guy is an old-school tyrant who should never be elected to dog catcher let alone governor.
If you care about the safety and welfare of your Virginia neighbors, if you want free and fair elections, if you are tired of political hacks who abuse the system to help their friends get out of legal trouble, then you can not vote for Terry McAuliffe on November 2.
