A letter from Tucker Carlson‘s attorneys accused Fox News of fraud and breach of contract just weeks after he left the cable news channel.
According to Axios, the letter was submitted to Fox News before Carlson announced on Twitter that his show would continue in a new format on the popular social media platform.
Carlson’s lawyers claimed that Fox News committed not to settle with Dominion Voting Systems in a way that “indicates wrongdoing” on his side. The network was also accused of leaking “his private communications to the media.”
By accusing Fox News of a breach of contract, Carlson would be able to argue that his announcement to air a show on Twitter did not violate the contract.
“Starting soon, we’ll be bringing a new version of the show we’ve been doing for the last six and a half years to Twitter,” he said in the Twitter video.
“We bring some other things too, which we’ll tell you about. But for now, we’re just grateful to be here. Free speech is the main right that you have,” he added. “Without it, you have no others.”

Tucker and Elon Musk, have been meeting and talking about creating something new on the platform. Musk always said that he wanted to turn Twitter into a free speech hub. Many people go to Twitter every day to get their news from the platform. But most of the time, what they see is the misinformation fake news media lying to them in media clips posted from their Twitter accounts. Tucker and Elon want to change that.
The legacy media is dying. People no longer want to wait for a specific time of day to get their news from news networks that they can tolerate. Today, they wish to see content when they want and from a variety of different devices and sources. I predict in five years from now your mainstream media outlets will either have to go the way that the independent journalists are doing now, on social media, or they will die out. After what Fox News did to Tucker Carlson, they may be the first one out the door. You can’t go down in the ratings as quickly as Fox has and stay alive for long.
Carlson’s contract with Fox News expires in January 2025, preventing him from pursuing any new media ventures. Other media outlets have already approached him with many offers.
Dominion informed Axios that as part of the $787.5 million settlement with Fox News, they did not insist on Carlson’s firing. I believe that was the work of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and little Hakeem Jeffries who lives in the shadow of Nancy Pelosi over in the House when they wrote a letter to Rupert Murdoch threatening his network if they didn’t censor Tucker because he released the J6 videos that debunked the Democrats’ narrative about an insurrection.
I, for one, can’t wait to see what Tucker and Musk come up with. I am certain they will be creating a news media platform that will have more people like Carlson, and no one will be able to stop them.
