The Ohio train derailment catastrophe has demonstrated how completely worthless Pete Buttigieg is as transportation secretary, but many of his Democratic supporters see him as the true victim of the situation. Not the people of East Palestine, Ohio who have to deal with their homes, water, air, and vegetation destroyed by a hazardous chemical spill and a controlled burn of vinyl chloride. No, it’s Pothole Pete.
They don’t see the numbers of American families going through hell; they only see a former presidential contender getting blasted for being so incredibly null on what’s going on in a small village of what the elites consider a bunch of peasants.
The Democrats are more concerned over how Buttigieg is being treated by the GOP than his incompetence as transportation secretary.
Politico revealed that the Democrats are taking “Republicans Pounce” to a whole new low level:
Buttigieg world frustrated at GOP attacks over train wreck
“Pete Buttigieg has taken a lot of bullets for the president on this,” one senior Democrat said.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELThis month’s toxic derailment in a small Ohio village has put Pete Buttigieg under pressure like never before — leaving him scrambling to contain a public health and transportation crisis only partially under his purview while absorbing the brunt of attacks from the Biden administration’s adversaries.
Publicly and privately, signs are growing that the Transportation secretary’s usual Eagle Scout patience is giving way to frustration.
He has gotten into Twitter spats with U.S. senators. His curt brush-off of a Daily Caller reporter who ambushed him during a walk turned into a viral video that has drawn more than 3 million views since Tuesday night. And on Wednesday, Buttigieg’s allies were complaining that he’s taking an unfair pounding over the disaster — all because of his perceived ambitions as a one-time and future presidential hopeful.
“Pete Buttigieg has taken a lot of bullets for the president on this,” one senior Democrat said Wednesday, insisting on anonymity to talk about a crisis that the person was not authorized to discuss…
The “effort by Fox News and Republicans” to use the pain of the East Palestine community “as a political weapon is both enraging and demeaning,” the senior Democrat said…
“These are bad faith attacks from Republicans who have been in lockstep with the rail lobby to unravel safety protections,” White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates said.
Is “Buttigieg World” a theme park on Epstein Island? The guy is the worst at his job, completely incompetent.
How much more out of touch can Democrats and the misinformation fake news media get?
Is it possible that Mayor Pete, I don't know, just hasn't done his flipping job? Just mull it over. Get back to us @Politico

What a framing, lol. Pete Buttigieg is undeniably the worst Transportation Secretary in the history of mankind, and Politico goes with this. What a joke.

Pete is in over his head, instead of going there immediately and showing concern, he’s blamed Trump policies ( NTSB disproves this) and is upset R’s are pointing out his failure.s. Where is the concern, federal resources, the President, etc.? Even his own party criticizes him……
