In A New Video, Trump Mocks Eric Swalwell, Saying, ‘He Fell Desperately In Love With A Chinese Spy’ [VIDEO]

Former President Donald Trump mocked Representative Eric Swalwell (Dumb-CA) for being booted from the House Intelligence Committee in a video posted on Monday. In December 2020, it was revealed that Swalwell had a strong association with Fang Fang (also known as Christine Fang), a suspected Chinese spy who had apparently targeted up-and-coming politicians in the Bay Area for several years. Swalwell is a dopey kind of guy and so he was a perfect candidate for the Chinese spy program. He would really believe a good-looking woman would want a relationship with him, and then she would get him to tell her inside secrets.

Swalwell was one of several politicians who allegedly interacted with Fang, but he has been the most prominent individual associated with her.

Trump said in the video: “Little respected, lightweight Representative Eric Swalwell was just kicked off the Intelligence Committee for reasons of integrity and lack of intelligence, and for having the poor judgment of dating and falling desperately in love with a Chinese spy…”

It was reported that between 2011 and 2015, Fang Fang posed as a student who was involved in fundraising while developing contacts with several Bay Area politicians, including Eric Swalwell. The congressman apparently met Fang Fang at a political event in 2012, while he was a member of the Dublin City Council, and she later assisted him with fundraising for his congressional race in 2014.

Following the revelation of Fang Fang’s activities, Swalwell maintained that he had cooperated with the FBI’s investigation and had not revealed any classified material to her. But he’s a Democrat, so we don’t really know if that’s the truth.

Swalwell further indicated that he was unaware of Fang Fang’s suspected ties to the Chinese government and that he cut off contact with her in 2015 after learning of her activities from the FBI.

So the dopey Swalwell had a relationship with a Chinese spy for about 3 years and never caught on. How did this moron make it onto the House Intelligence Committee? A lot of Swalwell defenders claim he wasn’t a member of Congress when he met Fang Fang. They point out that he was a city councilman at the time. But he has admitted that he met the Chinese spy in 2012 and we know that he was elected to the US House of Representatives in that same year. In fact, Fang Fang helped fundraise for his campaign. And since he broke it off in 2015, this means that Swawell had a three-year relationship with the Chinese spy while he was a member of Congress.

Swalwell was appointed to the House Intelligence Committee in 2015 And so he may have been on the Intelligence Committee while he was still getting on with his Fang Fang. So, Trump was right again. Eric Swalwell deserves to be laughed at.
