Fani Willis, the Fulton County District Attorney, responded publicly to the charges of wrongdoing against her on Sunday.
Willis spoke on Sunday at Big Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Atlanta, Georgia, for the first time since suspicions of a romantic involvement with prosecutor Nathan Wade were made public. The two are currently trying a lawsuit against former President Donald Trump for alleged election tampering, something the evidence shows he did not do. Willis is a crooked prosecutor caught up in the heat of “I’m gonna get Trump” mania.
“Wait a minute, God. You did not tell me, as a woman of color, it would not matter what I did—my motive, my talent, my ability, and my character would be constantly attacked,” Willis read from a letter she had written. “Oh Lord, they’re going to be mad when they call us out on this nonsense. First thing they’ll say, ‘Oh, she’s going to play the racism card now,'” she added. You can’t block people from pointing out the obvious, but nice try, Fani.
“But no, God, isn’t it them who are playing the race card when they only questioned one? Isn’t it them playing the race card when they constantly think I need someone from some other jurisdiction in some other state to tell me how to do a job I’ve been doing almost 30 years?”

While she did not identify Wade, she did mention employing three special prosecutors and paying them all the “same hourly rate,” and lamented that one of the accused is a black man. Willis mentioned his “impeccable” qualifications. Former Trump campaign official Michael Roman claimed in a complaint that Fulton County had paid Wade $654,000 in legal expenses since January 2022.
Willis said she is “as flawed as they come,” but she does not want to be “filled with hate,” as she claims Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is. The Georgia representative has requested a probe into Willis.
“You cannot expect black women to be perfect and save the world.” Willis went on to say, “We need to be allowed to stumble. We need grace.”
Willis was the victim of a “swatting” when an anonymous caller reported to authorities that a person had been shot dead at her home on Christmas night, and policemen arrived on the site. The judges in charge of Trump’s trials in New York and Washington, D.C. were also swatted at the same time.
Neither Wade nor Willis have verified their relationship. However, Willis was summoned to testify in Wade’s divorce proceedings.
To invoke racism inside a church without sufficient evidence makes you a piece of garbage.
