According to a report released on Monday, Israel has decided to strike Iran “clearly and forcefully” and has already begun preparing its fighter jets for the mission.
The alleged decision follows two war cabinet meetings in which Jewish leaders discussed how to respond to an onslaught of 350 suicide drones and missiles.
In the Middle East, you cannot allow an attack on your country to go without repercussions. In that neck of the woods, appeasement sends a signal that you are weak.
Channel 12 news in Israel carried the report, and local media outlets covered it extensively.
The outlet reported that the country’s air force, which includes US-made F-16, F-15, and F-35 fighter jets, is already preparing to launch a retaliatory strike against the rogue Islamic republic, though no date was offered. Only an American Democrat would let the enemy know when they were coming so that nobody got hurt.
According to the article, the strike is designed to send a message that Israel “will not allow an attack of that magnitude against it to pass without a reaction.” Damn skippy!
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELThe unsourced article says that Israeli leaders hope that the response won’t turn into a bigger war.
President Biden and allies have encouraged Israel to show caution and restraint, stopping just short of telling Netanyahu to bend over and say to Iran, “Thank you, sir; may I have another?” Biden allegedly assured Israel’s prime minister that the US would not support a counterattack. Probably because somebody could get hurt. #smh
Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, Israel’s military chief, confirmed Monday that Iran’s activities “will be met with a response,” but declined to elaborate or specify the timing.
At a White House press briefing Monday afternoon, National Security Council mouthpiece John Kirby described Iran’s missile attack on Israel as “a spectacular and embarrassing failure,” adding that the important US ally is now in a “far stronger strategic position” than before the incident.
Kirby declined to answer questions about whether he anticipated the US being told ahead of an Israeli military response.
“That is an Israeli decision to make. Whether and how they’ll respond to what Iran did on Saturday, we’re going to leave squarely with them.”
If the Biden administration isn’t going to support Israel, then Israel should keep them in the dark until after the mission.
According to Axios correspondent Barak Ravid, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant warned his US counterpart Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Sunday that Israel has “no choice” but to retaliate against the rogue Islamic Republic following its Saturday night launch of hundreds of missiles and suicide drones into Israeli airspace.
Iran’s aerial assault was in reprisal for an Israeli airstrike in Damascus on April 1 that killed a senior Iranian general.
According to Israeli media, the strike’s target, General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, was a main planner of the Oct. 7 raid on southern Israel, which killed over 1,200 people and launched the Gaza war, making him a legitimate target.
Israel, working with an improbable coalition of allies including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, was able to intercept 99% of Iran’s 350 missiles.
According to the Jerusalem Post, neither the drones nor the cruise missiles struck Israel, and just a few of the ballistic missiles passed through.
This is why you don’t steal elections in America. This never would have happened if Trump were in the White House.
