Well, Merry Christmas, America! President Joe Biden decided to gift-wrap a big ol’ lump of coal for the families of murder victims this holiday season. In a move that’s as baffling as it is infuriating, Biden commuted the sentences of 37 out of 40 federal death row inmates, swapping their death penalties for life in prison without parole. Talk about a “holiday miracle”—for the criminals, that is.
Biden defended the decision with a statement that smacks of “virtue signaling.” According to him:
“…guided by my conscience and my experience as a public defender, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Vice President, and now President, I am more convinced than ever that we must stop the use of the death penalty at the federal level.”
Translation? Biden’s racking up moral points in his mind, even if it means dismissing the pain of victims’ families.
And then, because no political move is complete without a swipe at Donald Trump, Biden added:
“In good conscience, I cannot stand back and let a new administration resume executions that I halted.”
That’s right. He blamed Donald Trump. Because what’s more important than making sure his policies stick it to the incoming administration? Did you see how he made the story about how Trump might execute the killers and not about the fact that he commuted the sentences of 37 vicious murderers? A bigger scumbag never sat in the Oval Office than Joe Biden.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELThis move comes on the heels of Biden’s other recent “forgiveness tours.” Just weeks ago, he commuted nearly 1,500 sentences, pardoned 39 people, and, oh, let’s not forget the pièce de résistance—he pardoned his son, Hunter Biden.
Naturally, this death-row clemency fiasco has sparked outrage. Republican Rep. Byron Donalds summed it up pretty nicely during a Fox News interview:
“Look, I think what’s happening with Joe Biden, nobody thinks he even knows about these clemencies or these pardons. This is the radical left staff that has been running this administration for the last four years. And so I agree with President Trump in what he said about these 37 individuals who have been granted clemency.”
This is outrageous. They should not have a Merry Christmas, to be perfectly blunt with you. But this is because we have the radical left doing all the things they’ve been wanting to do for a very long time on their way out the door while Joe Biden is at the beach or taking a nap or whatever it is he’s doing. This is a travesty. We are a country that doesn’t have a president right now.

Ouch. But is he wrong? Considering Biden’s recent public appearances—where he’s looked like he’s one turkey sandwich away from a nap—it’s not a stretch to think he didn’t even know what he was signing. Maybe he thought he was signing holiday cards, for all we know.
Biden’s presidency has been a masterclass in letting the radical leftist run the show. Biden’s just the figurehead while the radical left pulls the strings, checking off their wishlist of “terrible ideas to inflict on America.”
And it’s almost as if the Biden administration doesn’t care how it looks for these commutations to come during Christmas week. It’s just another bad thing to add up on a very bad legacy as most likely the worst president in US history.
