So, President Donald Trump took the stage for a solid 90-minute speech before Congress, and let’s just say—he wasn’t shy about celebrating. In classic Trump fashion, he painted a picture of America rising to greatness at record speed.
“Six weeks ago, I stood beneath the dome of this Capitol and proclaimed the dawn of the golden age of America,” Trump declared. “From that moment on, it has been nothing but swift and unrelenting action to usher in the greatest and most successful era in the history of the country.”
Translation: Six weeks in, and he’s already calling it a golden age.
Throughout his speech, Trump doubled down on the key points that have defined his administration: fixing the economy, helping the working class, strengthening American energy, cracking down on illegal immigration, and bringing back national sovereignty. Basically, his version of a presidential to-do list—but turbocharged.
“We have accomplished more in 43 days than most administrations accomplish in four years or eight years, and we are just getting started,” he said. If that wasn’t enough, he made it clear that America is back in business: “I return to this chamber tonight to report that America’s momentum is back. Our spirit is back. Our pride is back. Our confidence is back. And the American dream is surging, bigger and better than ever before.”
Now, if you thought that was a strong statement, he took it up another notch:

Trump also made sure to highlight the sheer volume of actions taken by his administration in just six weeks. Nearly 100 executive orders, 400 executive actions, and a mission to restore what he calls “common sense, safety, optimism, and wealth” across the country.
“The people elected me to do the job, and I’m doing it,” he said. And in case anyone wasn’t keeping track, he threw in a little brag: “In fact, it has been stated by many that the first month of our presidency is the most successful in the history of our nation.”
