So it turns out the Russian collusion hoax wasn’t just a media fantasy or a Clinton campaign talking point; it was baked in at the highest levels of the Obama administration. A new CIA assessment just dropped on Wednesday, and it lays it all out.
John Ratcliffe, former Director of National Intelligence, didn’t pull any punches. He said, “all the world will finally see the truth”. And then he went straight for the jugular, naming James Clapper, John Brennan, and James Comey as the central figures behind the operation.

The review identified “multiple procedural anomalies” that undermined the credibility of the ICA, including “a highly compressed production timeline, stringent compartmentation, and excessive involvement of agency heads.”

The review found that Brennan directed the compilation of the ICA, and that his, Comey’s and Clapper’s “direct engagement in the ICA’s development was highly unusual in both scope and intensity” and ”risked stifling analytic debate.”
These three didn’t just sit back and supervise. They were hands-on, taking what the assessment calls “unusual” direct roles in crafting the infamous ICA — the Intelligence Community Assessment — that was rushed out during the transition period after the 2016 election. That ICA became the holy scripture of the collusion cult and eventually set the stage for a special counsel investigation. All of it kicked off by a report cooked up in a backroom with limited oversight and maximum political motivation.
Here’s the part that makes it even worse. According to the CIA, 13 of the 17 intelligence agencies were excluded from the process. That’s right, excluded. Why? Because John Brennan, ever the obedient soldier, “handpicked” the analysts he wanted to build the ICA. He didn’t want dissenting views. He wanted an outcome. And just to really drive the point home, he insisted on including the “Steele Dossier” — yes, the same one that’s been widely discredited for years — despite objections from the agency’s own top Russia experts.
Brennan handpicked the CIA analysts to compile the ICA and involved only the ODNI, CIA, FBI and NSA, excluding 13 of the then-17 intelligence agencies.
He sidelined the National Intelligence Council and forced the inclusion of the discredited Steele dossier despite objections of the authors and senior CIA Russia experts, so as to push a false narrative that Russia secured Trump’s 2016 victory.
“This was Obama, Comey, Clapper and Brennan deciding ‘We’re going to screw Trump,’” said Ratcliffe in an exclusive interview.
“It was, ‘We’re going to create this and put the imprimatur of an IC assessment in a way that nobody can question it.’ They stamped it as Russian collusion and then classified it so nobody could see it.
“This led to Mueller [special counsel Robert Mueller’s inquiry, which concluded after two years that there was no Trump-Russia collusion]. It put the seal of approval of the intelligence community that Russia was helping Trump and that the Steele dossier was the scandal of our lifetime. It ate up the first two years of his [Trump’s first] presidency.
Let that sink in. Brennan forced in fake dirt on Trump that even his best guys said was garbage. And why did this matter so much? Because it wasn’t just about a report. It was about manufacturing an excuse. A pretense. A reason to kneecap the incoming president.
And the order came from the top. Barack Obama himself directed senior officials to put this plan into motion to conjure up the illusion of collusion. The result? Donald Trump walked into the White House with a target on his back. For years, his administration was boxed in by investigations, media smears, and partisan sabotage. Mission accomplished. Well, almost.
To this day, the myth that Trump worked with Russia to steal the 2016 election is gospel on the Left. Doesn’t matter how many times it’s debunked. They cling to it because it justifies everything they did, and still want to do.
And meanwhile, Brennan, Clapper, and Comey were more than happy to play along. Not only did they carry out Obama’s plan, they did it while scolding the rest of us about integrity, trust in institutions, and the importance of norms. These guys actively warped the very institutions they claimed to defend, then wagged their fingers at the American people.
Some people call it a “soft coup.” Others call it treason. Either way, it was an orchestrated attempt to overturn the results of a legitimate election. Not with votes. Not with debate. With bureaucratic backstabbing and intelligence manipulation.
Now, for anyone who’s been paying attention, this isn’t breaking news. Outlets like RedState have been sounding the alarm on this for years. But here we are, finally seeing the government acknowledge it out loud.
So what now?
That’s the big question. If it was legal for Obama, Brennan, Clapper, and Comey to twist intelligence like this and launch a political war against a sitting president, then we’ve got a much bigger problem than we thought. If it wasn’t legal, then where are the indictments? When does accountability start?
Because let’s be honest. Republicans are not going to be content with a quick “oops” and a dusty file dropped on a Wednesday. This wasn’t just a political dirty trick. It was a coordinated effort to nullify your vote. And if no one pays a price for it, it’s just going to happen again.
