The media is already running interference for James Comey. You’ve probably noticed it. The same old players, CIA-friendly “reporters” like Ken Dilanian at MSNBC, are bending over backward to make the charges against him look flimsy, political, or nothing more than “Trump’s revenge.”
Here’s the trick they’re using. Ken Dilanian claims the indictment is based on words Comey never actually said. Except, of course, he did say them.

This is the same routine we’ve watched for years. Cover for the Deep State. Attack Trump. Pretend nothing is happening. It’s a script on repeat.
But here’s the part they don’t want to admit. The truth looks nothing like their version.
Catherine Herridge, who is one of the very few real journalists left in the cesspool of what passes for “journalism” today, cut through the noise and dropped receipts the media won’t show you. She reported that the indictment wasn’t flimsy at all. It was ready to go, backed by evidence, and held up only by officials who were dragging their feet.

Herridge spelled it out. “All the evidence was there,” and the case wasn’t weak at all. The FBI had declassified leak investigations codenamed “Arctic Haze,” which revealed Comey’s role in authorizing leaks to the press, including leaks of classified information. He used subordinates inside the FBI and even his Columbia professor buddy, who had Special Government Employee status. That professor should probably be charged, too, unless he’s cutting a deal for himself to testify.
So no, this wasn’t a witch hunt. It was a cover-up, and the cover-up fell apart. Comey thought he had it locked down, even putting family in positions to protect him. But corruption always caves in on itself.
And remember, Comey himself wasn’t shy about what he wanted for Trump. In 2024, he went on Jen Psaki’s failing MSNBC show and speculated about what kind of prison cell Trump should be in.
Think about that for a second. The former FBI director, the man who spent years lecturing the country about “ethics” and “the rule of law,” sat on national television and joked about locking up the former president. That isn’t just unprofessional. It shows the level of arrogance these people operate with. They assume they’ll never be held accountable, that they can mock and sneer while ordinary Americans are expected to sit quietly and take it. It’s the same smug attitude we’ve seen from the rest of the ruling class for years — laugh at their enemies, crush their opponents, and then call it justice.

Go back even further. In 2021, Comey went on television and demanded that Trump be convicted, barred from office, and thrown in jail.

America is watching two very different realities play out. In one, the corporate press insists this entire case is nothing but payback, a stunt meant to smear an innocent man. In the other, independent reporters are laying out evidence that James Comey authorized leaks, mishandled classified information, and finally got caught doing it.
James Comey doesn’t deserve sympathy. He isn’t some misunderstood figure being unfairly punished. He’s the architect of a campaign designed to kneecap Trump, a duly elected president, and deceive the public, and the shield he’s been hiding behind has finally collapsed. For the first time, the man who pulled the strings is the one being dragged into the spotlight to answer for it.
