So here’s what happened. Social media exploded with one picture of Thomas Sanford. The left couldn’t wait to post it everywhere. A photo from 2018. Sanford in a Trump shirt. That’s all it took. Suddenly, they branded him a “right-wing extremist.” But that’s what they do for every shooter until the truth comes out and proves the left wrong. They learn nothing from the humiliation because they just do it all over again when the next lunatic commits a shooting.
Their claim? That MAGA is suddenly “on the defense” and “silent.” The message was clear: this man was supposedly a MAGA extremist, committing violence in Donald Trump’s name.
But that was a lie. And it was obvious. Why would someone who supports MAGA attack a Mormon church? It made no sense. The Left makes no sense. The evidence said otherwise from the very start. This wasn’t politics. It was personal. And now we know the truth. Reports confirm it was a targeted anti-Mormon attack.
According to the New York Post, just days before torching a Latter-day Saints church and opening fire on congregants, Michigan church shooter Thomas Sanford ranted to a local city council candidate that Mormons were “the antichrist.”
Kris Johns, 44, a candidate for the Burton City Council, told the Detroit Free Press he was canvassing on Sept. 22 when he met Sanford, who struck him as “extremely friendly” while he was door-knocking constituents.
Think about that. “Mormons are the Antichrist.” Johns remembered the anger in his voice. He said it was obvious Sanford had both the motivation and the planning to carry out violence.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELThe two spoke for about 20 minutes, with Sanford at one point opening up about his service in Iraq as a US Marine and the struggles with drug addiction he faced after returning home. Johns said the conversation then took ‘a very sharp turn’ when the topic of religion came up, as Sanford revealed he once had a relationship with a woman whose family was Mormon while he lived in Utah.
At the time, Johns didn’t think it was a reportable situation. Now he’s talking to the FBI and the Michigan State Police. Investigators confirm it: Sanford carried out a premeditated act. They also discovered improvised explosive devices at the scene.
Police believe Sanford’s rage stemmed from that past relationship with the Mormon woman, whose family pushed him to cover up his tattoos and embrace church practices. He refused. According to The Daily Beast, the fallout from that failed relationship fueled his deep resentment toward the LDS church.
Karoline Leavitt confirmed what investigators now believe. Sanford deliberately targeted members of the Mormon faith. The FBI is investigating how long he had been planning and whether he left behind a note.

But notice what happened right away. Before investigators even had a motive, the left already had its story. They claimed this was a right-wing terrorist attack. They blasted out memes, tweets, and doctored images. All of it was designed to link Sanford to MAGA.
With so many left-wing shooters over the years, you can only imagine how delighted the leftists were when they thought they had a MAGA guy as a shooter of a church. But alas, they were wrong yet again.
We’ve all seen this before. Charlie Kirk’s shooting. Dylon Roof, who shot up a church in Charlotte, was not a right-winger but an Alt-Right member, which is a white supremacist thing and has nothing to do with conservatives or MAGA.
Every time a shooting happens, the script never changes. The media screams, they rush to blame conservatives, and then the whole story unravels.
Here’s the reality. The left has a political violence problem. Their radicals have normalized it. They don’t admit it. Instead, they make up hoaxes. They spin conspiracies. They shift the blame.
And here’s the truth. There has never been a single MAGA-motivated political assassination. Not one. Yet the media keeps pretending otherwise. They repeat the lie until people start to believe it, all while turning a blind eye to the very real violence coming from their own side.
Sanford’s attack had nothing to do with MAGA. Nothing to do with Trump. It was fueled by personal rage and hostility toward the Mormon faith. Anyone claiming otherwise is lying to you.
The left’s spin is shattered. Millions may have fallen for it at first, but the facts are crystal clear. This was not a MAGA attack.
